CHOWKING SM MEGAMALL — Restaurant in Mandaluyong

Place- always crowded and noisy, but that is to be expected for a fast food chain

Service - cashier was fast and very good. Although I might not say the same for the staff who handle the food from the kitchen to the customer. As I waited for my food - I saw him kept on sneezing, although he did try to cover it, but he continuesly used the same hand without washing or disinfecting his hand while handling all the food coming out from the kitchen. I immediately approached him when i saw my order to avoid him further handling my tray of food . Maybe they can provide a mask and a disinfectant on the counter (this made me decide not to return to this branch anymore).

Food - I ordered the chicken with pork chaofan and the kangkong with bagoong. At least the chicken size is substantial and cooked right without much breading and not too salty. The chaofan was ok, not oily and salty. The kangkong was good, but for P50, this is a reap off. The chicharap was not even worth mentioning.

I would like to give thanks to Chowking SM Megamall, to the manager of Chowking Sir Mel, and the rest of the team of Chowking.

Bumili ako sa Chowking around 9pm then yung time na nilabas ko ung wallet ko na nawala. Paglabas ko ng Chowking diko alam kung nalaglag ko siya dun. Napansin ko nlng nung may pinuntahan akong store sa Building A para bumili, at dun ko na notice na nawawala yung wallet ko. Bumalik ako ng Chowking ulit nun around 9:50 pm siguro then nag ask ako kung may na surrender na wallet. Kaya ginawa ko nag ask ako sa guard ng department store kung saan yung lost and found. Napasa ako sa isang guard sa information and sinamahan ako papuntang lost and found. Unfortunately wala dun at nag iwan nlng ako ng contact. Medyo hopeless nako nun at pumasok nlng ako sa work ko which is GY ako. Di rin ako maka focus sa work dahil wala ako sa mood.

After shift ko, naisip ko at nagbakasakali na baka may nag surrender ng wallet ko. Kaya pumunta ulit ako agad sa Chowking. Sobrang busy nung store pero nag try ako lumapit sknila at dun ko nakausap si Sir Mel na kahit busy ay nakausap ko parin siya tungkol sa nawawala kong wallet. Nag request din ako na ipa review ung cctv, so tinuro niya saken yung isang gilid kung saan nyako bbalikan and nag wait ako ng mga not less than 10 minutes. As he approaches to me nag sorry siya politely kasi medyo natagalan pero para sakin hindi and that time napangiti ako kasi hawak na nya yung nawawala kong wallet. Before ko makuha there is some verification first katunayan na sakin yung wallet and that's it.

I would say, it was commendable to Sir Mel and sa team ng Chowking kung sino man nakapag tabi ng wallet ko. Thank you very much as I will never forget this experience from Chowking. Mahalaga lahat nung laman sa wallet ko and thankful sa...

Just like Jollibee - salt, sugar and MSG laden fastfood except Chinese style. The sweet and sour.pork is mostly sweet and the pork is mostly fat (to cut cost and improve profits). Every bite is an RSVP to the Philippine Heart Center. While the overtly sweet sauce is diabetes whispering in your ears.

The salt and pepper pork is good though. The utensils are sterilized. However the cups where water and halo-halo is served are greasy.
