French Baker — Restaurant in Manila

Pretty much the same look and feel as the other branches. They offer a wide variety of bread, rolls, pastries, etc. There’s also a spacious dining area to accommodate diners. Staff aren’t that pleasant or into greetings. Or maybe because they’re busy with other tasks? Anyway, it was only in this branch that I learned there are 3 different wheat walnut breads-the loaf (which looks like the regular tasty bread) the rolls and the whole bread which can be sliced upon request. Price range is between P170 to P180. Our whole wheat walnut bread usually lasts 3-4 days for a family with 3 members. This has become a staple in our home. It’s healthy, soft (good for seniors) and tasty even without any spread. I prefer mine with kesong puti though and of course, best paired with hot coffee. I like the location of this branch because it’s within the mall-right across the grocery and surrounded by shops, different eateries, drug store, spas and others. Convenient to visit especially for Binondo...

Before 830 pm, there is always a long line of people (mostly elderly Chinese) waiting for the 50% off discount on almost every pastry/ bread that it will be all sold out in an instant.

Not as friendly like in other branches. The male crew are more polite than the female.

Their carrot cake, peach or apple danish, choco muffin, blueberry danish and muffin, macarons are a delight!
