Wai Ying Fast Food — Restaurant in Manila

This is a food truck of the famous Binondo food trip destination: Wai Ying Fast Food.

I wanted to try beef noodles but it was unavailable so I tried wanton noodles and hakaw instead.

For the hakaw, the cover was quite thick and I like my hakaw thin and smooth so it was so-so for me. It felt a bit dry for me. The noodles, too, felt a bit dry even when you eat it with soup. But the dumplings are superb! I think it was pork and shrimp dumplings. It has a slight sweetness complementing the broth.

Last month, I went to Divisoria to buy Christmas giveaways for friends. While walking around, I stumbled upon Lucky Chinatown Mall in Reina Regente St. I saw this place called Wai Yung Fast food. It's almost lunchtime and decided to order food, which is the Soy Chicken mami and Siomai. The best!!! The chicken is tender, the soup is very flavorful, the noodles are chewy. We tried Wai Ying at Lucky Chinatown Mall, located in Chinatown Walk—the small strip between the mall and the hotel. I highly recommend their Beancurd Roll; it’s one of the best I’ve tasted so far.
