Disappointing experience. Went here because it had such good reviews but was really let down in the end.
Arrived around 7.30 with a group of 6 and saw the restaurant was full. We proceeded to ask if we would be ok wait for a table and were ushered inside quickly to the bar. Here we ordered 6 beers and were told that the table wouldn’t be long after waiting for half and hour and making it clear we wanted to order food - with staff giving us food menus and no timing warnings.
We then got a table around 8pm when we were told the kitchen was closing and we couldn’t order, we then said that wasn’t fair as they’d told us it would be ok and hadn’t warned us that the last orders for the kitchen were at 7.50. We then asked if that could be extended and 2 members of staff told us they’d ask the kitchen when actually they didn’t and never told us what was happening. The manager then stepped in after we intervened and said it was fine to order but half the menu wasn’t available as the grill gets turned off at 8pm.
We were stuck for choices so decided to stay, we ordered and then were told that the dishes we ordered actually weren’t available. We changed our orders, then the manager came over and told us that of those dishes the pita bread and hummus had run out. Both being a major part of the already thinned out menu. We stuck with it as no choice to change and what arrived for 6 people was 3 pieces of sourdough bread, 3 small bowls of what seemed like microwaved chicken, and a plate of eggplant. We also order two burgers which had to be shared. So everyone was left unsatisfied.
In fairness what did come tasted lovely, but the staff had no willingness to help us, communicate or provide actually decent portion sizes to replace what wasn’t availableZ
We left hungry and confused, we didn’t understand why you’d let a group into a restaurant that was running out of food and knew the kitchen was closing. There was no instance of communication where we were let known the timings of the kitchen.
The manager was very kind and took our drinks off the bill to compensate but please be wary before eating here of an evening as staff are clearly sparse, the food not in stock and there being quite rude levels of communication insisting that it was our fault even though we had asked if it was ok to eat...
Read more→ Amazing & delicious Middle Eastern Cuisine ← The last dinner in Bohol was so unpretentious and truly delicious! If you are friends of some meat lovers and vegetarian, this is a good choice. It's vegetarian-friendly, satisfies both sides at the same time, and I like the flavor is not too heavy.
I ordered one of the popular dishes "Lebanese-style Chicken Skewers". If you like hummus, pita, skewers, and grilled eggplant like me, you will LOVE it to heaven! ! ! 💕
Dipping warm pita bread to classic hummus, which is very satisfying every bite. The grilled chicken leaves a fragrant aroma on your lips and teeth, and the spices are not too strong like traditional Middle Eastern cuisine. The grilled eggplant is really yummy and not too soft...Me as a little girl has a limited appetite. If you have a chance, help me try other dishes~
The price is affordable compared to Alona area. After having dinner there made me full as a pregnant lady. The atmosphere is relaxing. If you like mild and smooth Middle Eastern food, highly recommend you to try it. They also have North African food and some Asian food. As soon as I returned to my hotel, I chatted with the lady at the counter and she said this is her favorite restaurant.😍
Note: The photo is my favorite cozy area. The main area is regular restaurant tables and chairs (because there are many people, I didn’t take pictures for privacy reasons).

Read moreWe had such a disappointing dinner here last night. Arrived at 7:30 and sat by the bar to wait for a table to come free so we could eat.
Finally sat down at 8pm and the waitress says the grill is shut so there is a limited menu to order from. She came back 15 mins later and then told us she couldn’t take our order as kitchen is closed now.
We eventually had to get the manager to come out who said we could order food from the limited menu. He came back to us 3 times after taking our order saying the main components are not available and offered us substitutes. The substitutes came out and we’re 1/4 of the size of the main we ordered. Eventually left and had to go to Maccas to fill our empty bellies.
Very disappointed as the reviews were so good but think we just had a bad experience with the staff as there was a real lack of...
