HORRIBLE SERVICE! and we never sat down. I live here and won't ever go back!

I have worked and managed restaurants most of my life. Arrive with my wife (Filipina) and two kids (ages 2 and 5) and they were busy. No problem, I get that. The hostess just told me "no table." More guests arrived after us as I was trying to talk to the hostess to get an idea about the wait. But she only talked to all of the other guests. Then a table opened up, perfect size for us, even good for four adults, and she immediately grabbed another group that came after us. I was still standing at the hostess counter at the time. It's hard to find good pizza in the Philippines, and even the pictures only make it look decent at best, but when the hostess barely acknowledges you and immediately grabs a different guest, one that is obviously a tourist and not a local, and still fails to acknowledge you... Well, I am more than happy to spend my money somewhere else. I am patient, I was willing to wait, and working in restaurants as long as I have, I am always nice, but her disregard was rude enough that I will just assume the food is worse than the service. I will give a restaurant a second chance if the food is bad and the service is good; however, I will never go back to a restaurant with...

The fettuccine Alfredo was to my taste but only because I like German and Swiss style noodle casseroles. It was the farthest from an Italian fettuccine Alfredo I ever had, due to the sticky Swiss cheese it was made with and the complete lack of any white sauce. The pepperoni pizza was pretty good. EDIT: Thanks for your funny response but it is clear that you don't read well. I had fettuccine in about 50 places from Milano to Firence and countless fettuccines in Italian owned restos from the US to Costa Rica and all across Europe. Yours had no sauce at all, just stringy, sticky cheese, which tasted exactly like Swiss cheese, the one with the holes, not just any cheese from swizzerland. Parmesan doesn't do that. It resembled an American Mac and cheese more than an Alfredo pasta. I liked it because it resembled a Swiss Alpler or a German Auflauf, both noodle casseroles, but totally different from fettuccine Alfredo. You might want to check on your pasta chef. Or maybe he ran out of Parmesan and Alfredo sauce and improvised. Anyways, although it was palatable, as a fettuccine, it didn't deserve the name. And Italians would agree. Adding a picture of a real Italian fettuccine Alfredo. It's not dry noodles with string cheese, is it? That's because...

관광객 함정 (TOURIST TRAP!) – This place is taking advantage of its location with very mediocre pizza and overcharging for basic necessities like water. All establishments in the Philippines are required to provide service water by law. You can see by the owner’s responses he has a financially driven excuse for everything, even breaking the law.

This tourist trap made me walk out without finishing my over priced meal. The soggy, floppy pizza with barely any cheese was inedible. I had to complain twice about the severe lack of cheese, after they just reluctantly sprinkled a bit of Parmesan on top and suggested I pay an extra 90 pesos. Shouldn’t pizza come with more than just a sprinkle of cheese? We couldn’t eat half the soggy bread/pizza, and so reluctantly paid the bill and left hungry. Staff also create a very awkward and uncomfortable dining experience the way they all stand watching so closely. AVOID!!!

Response to owner: accept criticism for once in your life. Why is it normal to skimp so badly on mozzarella cheese, the customer is forced to request cheese, then a waitress brings over Parmesan and charges 90 pesos? Let me guess that’s normal in Italy lol? Keep scamming and don’t take care! Your food is an insult to...

Overpriced but always crowded ! its more like a fast food restaurant ! they serve fast the meals as seems they want you to leave fast as other guests waiting already ! i asked if i can change the penne arrabiata to spaghetti ! the waitress said NO but then her supervisor said YES but they still served me PENNE ! no parmesan cheese on top or on the side ! when i asked for a bit parmesan cheese they said it will be additional 90 peso ! when i asked for a little bit more tomato sauce on my pizza they said it will be 80 peso additional ! the pizza got cold within 2 minutes because their roof is full of ceiling fans ! maybe another trick to make you eat fast and make space for new guests ! the food is okay but i don't like cold pizza and eating in a rush ! last but not least i ask for service water but they never served it ! wondering why this place is always full of guests but seems special koreans like this kind of hectic restaurant. glad there are more good italian restaurants in panglao !

I wanted to get out of the exclusive resort we were at for some authentic Italian food, pasta, salad and pasta. We came to the right place, thanks to the high recommendation of my cousin. This place is not by any means a fine dining restaurant, but it is patronized by tourists, both local and foreign. When I saw the diners, I knew this has to be an enjoyable dining experience. The insalata was better than most Italian restaurants in the U.S. My cousins ordered two kinds of pizza, seafood pasta, while I ordered lasagna. This so far the best lasagna I ever ate since I moved here from Chicago in October 2021. I got to taste every single dish on the table too. Everything was authentic Italian and full flavored too. I thought this place must be owned by an Italian chef, and he came out and said hi to my cousin who’s been here before. How I wish this place had a branch in Cebu City too. I know I won’t miss this everytime I visit Panglao, Bohol from now on.
