Eating with flies!

I was looking for paksiw fish (slow cooked fish with vinegar) and came to this place as a recommendation from my hotel. I ordered paksiw fish, one sunny side up egg and chopsuey (veg). The paksiw was very salty, the egg was cold and chopsuey was ok. The service was not friendly! I asked about their dishes and they were not accommodating with such a tone as though I was forcing it out of them. When I paid, I only had a Php 1000 bill. I could see in her face she was not pleased. Since I arrived, I did not see a single smile from their faces as though they were miserable with their jobs! Whatever it was, it put me off from enjoying my meal and the atmosphere. Plus the flies! They saw me struggling eating due to the flies and did nothing. Unlike the Andrea Kawayan's Eatery, they took care of the flies for me! These little things make an eating experience a massive difference. I intentionally did not spend a lot from this place to try them out. I would not recommend this place for all the above reasons! You are much better off eating at Andrea Kawayan if you are looking for authentic...

Honest review. Way back last year when we went for a vacation on bohol panglao. We end up eating here because the restaurants on the shoreline are expensive. Unfortunately this was no difference. Food here is overpriced too. The owner itself and the person who grills the food for you is a fraud. We ordered a large squid to grill, quite a large one that is good for 5 people. But when it was given to us, the food was reduced and perhaps divided into two. I caught the staff giving the other half on the boss because he was also eating at the same time with us. Of course the staff denied the accusation even if I caught her red handed already. I was in no position to start a trouble or distress because Im...

The 2 service crews showed very poor customer service!

While asking about the viand available, their faces were on BEAST Mode. We bought 4 viands - pork adodo was too salty, and hard, the beef nilaga was bland (walang umami), and cold! Their chopsuey was bland too! Their taste is either too Salty or bland! Also, their spoon and fork were not sterilized. I asked for a cup of hot water to heat the utensils, the cashier was whining saying those utensils were sanitized "cold"! The food was pricey too for their small serving. My goodness! Why are they opening a...

If you want to eat local food with local and pay good prices, come here instead of inflated Alona prices.. veggies 30 peso for portion...morning glory, beans are good in this veggie lacking country. Noodles so so for 30P, beef soup for 2 is good but tad pricey at 250P, chicken adobo and for are 80P for like a piece of few pc. Rice is 20P. 4 of us ate for 690Peso ($12us). We ate here for lunch 3 times but sometime they run out of foods if you come later after 1-2pm. All locals eating here.

reasonable price food found along the streets of alona, panglao. considering where it is situated, this will satisfy your need of food especially as a tourist looking for a budget friendly eatery. The only thing concerns us was the dust are everywhere and no electricfans. It was on a hot weather. We dine around 11am. We just ate fast so that we can look for a different place to hang.
