The Glebe Coffee — Restaurant in Panglao

Very late review. This review is based on my experience in Glebe last April to October 2023.

The location is right on the highway of Alona. They have parking space in front of the coffee shop and at the back of the building. The ambiance is really relaxing, and they have a clean shop. The air conditioning is very strong, beating the summer heat. The wifi is strong, so I get my work done. They also have power outlets near the table. The restroom is on the 3rd floor. They have limited food options, but you can order at the restaurants in the same building and eat it in the coffee shop. The coffee is of really high quality. I love everything on the coffee menu, including the hot chocolate and matcha drink. They have plant-based milk at an additional price. The price is affordable, value for money. I really love their Spanish latte. The barista is also very friendly, adding to the positive experience.

I came here twice, the first time I left after sitting outside side 10 minutes with no service. At one point an employee walked by and looked at us but kept walking. 2nd time sitting out side and a waitress came out deliverd coffee to another table and cleaned a table and never returned. I waited 11 minutes went inside and asked if they were short staffed and told them we had been waiting for over 10 minutes. With no response I asked do you sell breakfast? She said no and said they only had a breakfast burrito. Online shows a full breakfast menu (all types). Not sure if you're supposed to go inside to order something or not. Possibly the best smelling coffee shop around. Great service from all the staff, and ofcourse, great coffee. We have walked passed the coffee shop a few times and sadly it has been closed each time we passed, but a dedicated trip out for coffee made it all certainly worth it.
