We had a wonderful dining experience here! The staff were very attentive and genuinely nice, which made the visit even more enjoyable. We booked through Eatigo and were able to avail of a 50% discount — definitely a great deal for the quality of food we had.
Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. My personal favorite was the Rabas Fritas — perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. We also tried the Salpicado de Solomillo and initially requested it medium rare, but it came out well done, making it a bit tough. We mentioned it to the staff, and they immediately replaced it with a new, correctly cooked version. The second plate was spot-on and incredibly tasty.
The restaurant itself has beautiful interiors, with elegant touches and a charming background story about Señor Anastacio de Alba that adds a nice cultural touch to the atmosphere. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I would definitely love to come back!

Read moreDisappointing. This was my mum’s favourite buffet experience pre-pandemic, and ever since restaurants became a thing again she’s been wanting to go back. We decided to take her for her birthday. The branch nearest us at Westgate still didn’t have the lunch buffet option so we drove all the way to the one at Prism Plaza.
The price has increased, which wasn’t surprising. What was surprising was the drastic decrease in quality of food offerings. No more salad (only tiny cups of pre-mixed salad), small selection of cold cuts, and literally only Eden cheese (or something similar) as the cheese option - no manchego or and other decent cheese. There were maybe 4 or 5 options for main, and two were virtually inedible (the roast pork was dry as a bone and the callos was rubbery). My mum’s favourite dish, lengua, was also no longer on the buffet (it used to be). The desserts were just pathetic - there used to be leche flan and cakes… now there’s just Brazo de Mercedes (which is mainly whipped egg whites), jello in shot glasses, some sad, dry old tartlets, and two kinds of sliced melon - the cheapest fruit available. Safe to say that with this pathetic lunch, Alba’s has lost us as...
Read moreI visited Alba for the first time and was impressed by the food, but the service left much to be desired. There weren’t many people when we arrived, so I expected a smoother experience. We ordered three appetizers and a main dish, with the waiter recommending one of the appetizers. However, he forgot to write it down, and we only received one appetizer. After a long wait, our main dishes arrived, but we still hadn’t received the two missing appetizers.
My father was confused, asking why we got the main dish without the appetizers. The waiter then came over and claimed we had only ordered one appetizer and one main, which was odd since we had clearly ordered more.
The atmosphere and food at Alba are fantastic, but the service needs a lot of improvement. I hope they...
