Italianni's Newport Mall — Restaurant in Pasay

There are many food choices in Newport Mall. We chose this location for 2 reasons.

We wanted Italian.

The Staff was very attentative.

We originally chose an alternative, but the tables were not level and the staff did not cone to serve us.

Upon deciding to eat at Italianni's the staff were very attentative. Helping us to chose a seat, providing us free water (choice of room or cold temperature), bread and the olive oil dip - whilst we made our menu choice.

The menu is just the right amount on offer to choose from with a good selection of Italian / Filipino cuisine to choose from.

I decided on the set meal of 650php and my goodness it was a surprise when it arrived - a lot more than I expected. It included a Caesar Salad, chocken dish and fruit juice - a friend had simikar but chose meatballs and Spaghetti.

The food was served fairly quickly and the 4 of us all got the food togerher - the staff were again very helpful and friendly.

Would i visit again - YES and maybe try sonething again from the set menue

Value for money - GOOD well priced at a high end location.

Would I recommend - YES definitely if you want Italian.

PARKING - not sure as we were visiting friends and parked near to where they were staying - the cost was not to bad 50php for 3 hours.

WASHROOMS - the restaurant does not have their own so you must use the Mall washrooms which...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Italianis, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. As soon as I walked in, the warm and inviting ambiance set the stage for a delightful meal.

The pasta dishes were simply perfect. Cooked just right, each bite was full of rich, delicious flavors that showcased the chef's expertise.

The shrimp olio oglio was another standout. The shrimp were succulent and perfectly seasoned, and the combination of garlic, olive oil, and red pepper flakes created a harmonious blend of flavors. This simple yet exquisite dish left a lasting impression.

The drinks at Italianis were superb. Whether you're in the mood for a refreshing cocktail, a fine wine, or a classic Italian beverage, their drink menu had something for everyone. Each drink was expertly crafted and complemented the meal perfectly.

To start, we had the appetizer bread with artichoke dip, which was a delightful way to begin the meal. The bread was fresh and warm, and the artichoke dip was creamy and flavorful. It was the perfect appetizer to whet our appetite.

I never leave reviews, but our recent visit to Italianni’s Newport was frustrating enough that I felt compelled to share. The service was surprisingly poor.

It started with the basics. After serving water, the staff didn’t bring the complimentary bread unless we followed up on it. Isn’t that supposed to come automatically?

Worse, they completely forgot one of our orders. We followed up twice—first with one staff member, who never returned, then with another, who also disappeared without any update. No one seemed to care or take ownership of the issue.

Eventually, the manager came by and asked how everything was. I told him that one of our dishes was never served. He apologized and said he’d check on it... but just like the others, he never came back or gave us any explanation.

The food that did arrive was okay, but the whole experience left a bad taste. This level of service is unacceptable, especially from a restaurant that positions itself as premium. Definitely not coming back to...
