A place I would not go back nor recommend. Food selections for the price of 3500pesos aren't worth it. No free drinks included not even basic juices. Dined here to celebrate my son's birthday. I was able to score a discount upon seeing it at eatigo. Was disappointed for the selection of foods. Not really that much option for a dinner buffet. Surprisingly 2 options for sashimi only, tuna and salmon, no salmon belly sashimi and no available sushi at all. For the meat, it was good enough. It's good they have a paluto but honestly it was bland. We asked for buttered shrimp ( cant taste that much flavour ) the baked mussels was too dry. And no free drinks at all. Kahit man lang juices? None. Also, my hubby approached the cake counter to buy a cake for my son so he could blow a candle on it. He pointed a specific cake. The Manager did not even mentioned that they have a cake that was for celebrants. He only said I will coordinate it. And thats it. When hubby asked another server thats the time they said they have free cakes for celebrants. We're not after the free cake, kasi my son has allergies on peanuts. And what they did, they brought the free cake smothered by peanuts on it. We didn't mentioned about the allergies on them cos we know what he is going to eat. We just left them sing and let him blow the candle and removed the nuts surrounding it. Even i got a discounted price it was not worth it. Only consolation was some staff are very attentive si Kim. I don't recommend it and I would not...
Read moreWe celebrated my hubby and BIL's bday as well as our auntie's welcome lunch here earlier and let me just say this. First of all, I am no stranger to different buffets, whether from stand-alones restaurants, hotels, or the ones from the malls etc. I had my fair share of experience from different 5-star hotel restaurants like Heat - Shangri La, Spiral of Sofitel, Corniche - Diamond Hotel, The Cafe - City of Dreams, the ones from Bellevue, Crimson Hotel, Richmonde etc and other fine dining places. But I can definitely say that when it comes to service, Marriott Hotel Cafe definitely is at the top! To have an almost perfect service despite the place being full, that's almost extraordinary like seriously! I especially love our server, Dazel who made the day perfect! And Shy and Edison too! The grilling took a while but it's okay because when the seafood were served, (which by the way were really really fresh) they were really amazing!!! Actually, it's our 3rd time here but every visit/ experience exceeds my expectation. I never feel dissappointed whenever I bring special people here. Yes it is pricey but very much worth it. We will definitely come back again! Thank you Marriott staff for making our events wonderful all the...
Read moreTo make our wedding anniversary even more special, we decided to eat here for dinner. Luck was on our side as it was surprisingly not traffic and we found a parking slot quickly at the basement. Friendly staff greeted us warmly as they showed us our table. Buffet layout was a reverse L designed to disperse people to prevent overcrowding. I super liked the wide selection of cheeses and coldcuts. That took care of my first plate. They had a carving station with grill on the side. I always like to have my meat slices grilled a bit specially the fat parts. My wife loved the seafood selection where she picked just enough for us and have them cooked. The Japanese selection was limited but the tempura was good! The part they also excelled in my opinion was desserts. They served fruits, cakes, fondue and ice cream among others. Everything was so good that we ate here again for breakfast the following weekend. It is safe to say we will be doing this...
