I have to say, Bom Gosto has surpassed my expectations. We came here for a simple dinner and we were greeted with a welcoming staff, very hospitable and accomodating. Friday nights do not seem to be busy for them since the location is tucked away at the end of the hall. We came to an empty restaurant but eventually people came in around quarter to 7.
The warm lighting makes it cozy, they play jazz over the speakers but it's the type of restaurant that puts the volume just right, just enough for you to hear a conversation across the table. The staff pays close attention and always comes by when you need a water refill or need a change of plate. It is small things like these that I think make the restaurant great.
The food was exceptional, far beyond what I expected. For the price, we didn't think they would serve much but as soon as the dishes came out, we immediately knew that we got our money's worth. The food is well seasoned, nothing too complex but nothing too simple either. I can't exactly determine how much one person can spend in a group but what I can say is that a lot of these dishes are good for 2-3 people for such a stable price point compared to its contemporaries. Dishes that I recommend are: Jamon Serrano, The Fresh Tomato Salad with Parmesan, Shrimp Alfredo, Paella Negra, and the Pork Chop.
The dessert was good as well. The Tiramisu is a must-have! A bit rigid from some time in the freezer but just enough to hold it together so that when you cut in, the surrounding areas will not cave in and leave an uneven half for the next person to take. Set upon a plate of ice cream, the tiramisu is not sweet, the ice cream is, and that provides the perfect balance. A very nice place to spend a night and a very nice place to celebrate my sister's capping.
Oh yeah, don't hesitate to tell them if you're celebrating something or not because they really will go lengths to give you a special experience fit for a special day. Definitely worth the money and...

Food: The food was excellent! We ordered pork chop, cordon Bleu, seafood lasagna, etc. and every dish was cooked to perfection. The rib eye was a favorite among us, with its rich flavors and generous portion. The kids especially enjoyed pasta and the desserts were a hit with everyone!
Service: The staff was wonderful – polite, patient, and accommodating. They made sure our table had everything we needed and were quick to respond to any requests.
Ambiance: The decor was warm and inviting, and the background music was pleasant without being overpowering. It added to the relaxing vibe of the evening.

Read moreVery disappointed in the attitude of the chefs. Its an open kitchen and we were seated right in front where can hear and see everything. After waiting for 30 minutes all the main dishes arrived except for the garlic rice. We kindly asked the server to follow-up, but when she did she was belittled and shouted at by the chefs for being impatient, and she was left visibly shaken. The chefs clearly saw that we were looking at them but one of the chefs with a tattoo continued to show a frowned face. The chef's names were Jamah, Jerome, Berto, and Alliyah. Imagine waiting 30 minutes just for a simple garlic rice, and hearing all 4 of those chefs being disrespectful right in front of our own faces. These kinds of people do not belong in the kitchen with these kinds of attitude, as they cannot even respect their fellow coworker. The food and the ambiance of the place was good, however I will be telling all of my friends to avoid this restaurant as they have employees who are disrespectful and arrogant. Special thanks to Ms Tricia our server for being so kind and for having a smile on her face despite the disrespect that...
