Restaurant Selection and Ambiance The group chose Seazars Restaurant, conveniently located near the seafood market. The simple yet air-conditioned venue provided a comfortable dining experience. Visiting around 11:30 AM, they observed the restaurant becoming busier, but the 15-minute wait time was impressively quick.
Food Experience The seafood selection offered plenty of variety, all cooked fresh to order. The standout dish was the Garlic Buttered Shrimp, a must-try for visitors. Other memorable items included Baked Talaba with Cheese and Grilled Stuffed Pusit. However, the Mango Graham dessert was a disappointment, being overpriced and lacking value.
Service and Facilities The service was efficient, with staff ensuring meals were prepared promptly. The restroom, though small, was clean. Parking was limited, particularly during peak hours. A service charge between PHP 125 to PHP 209 was included in the bill.
Pricing Overview The total cost for six people was PHP 3,800, with PHP 2,100 for cooking services and PHP 1,700 for the seafood itself. Averaging PHP 640 per person, the pricing was reasonable for the quality and variety of the dishes.
Additional Observations Fresh seafood prices varied by weight, with standout items like baklang crabs and halaan shell offering notable quality. It was noted that live seafood from aquariums tended to be more expensive.
Overall Impression The experience was satisfying and memorable, offering a great balance of quality and cost. It’s an excellent choice for seafood lovers who enjoy variety and freshness. Improvements could include better parking facilities and more reasonably...
Read moreA surprising gem in the vicinity of the wet market! My friend is a super regular here. The next-door seafood market provides to the restaurant fresh materials and it shows. The taste is amazing and the variety is just impressive. Very much a local establishment; away from the glitzy malls and tourist traps; service is friendly (the aunties and uncles; Ate and Kuya) and prompt. They can provide also from the stalls close by - I had the avocado juice which was delicious. The seaweed salad is something I never tried before and its something one should always try! It tastes like the sea; combined with the vegs and the vinegar was simply a perfect starter. The eggplant was a something new, it tasted fresh. The seafood in general were very good and fresh - no complaints and all praises. Try the broccoli and meat - it was cooked where the beef was actually quite crispy marinated and flavorful!
I would definitely come back here again. One gem you...
