The Whisky Library, Newport World Resorts — Restaurant in Pasay

The person who (interior) designed this place should be promoted to chief ID. Whisky Library is like a fusion between a man cave and a bar. I also love their protocol of keeping the doors closed until they feel you are committed to drink. It just adds up to the anticipation and mystery of what's inside the closed doors. When we entered, I literally spent the first 5 minutes just admiring the whisky wall, nice warm lights and plush leather couches. Ordered 2 sets of Tasting Paddle, each set comes with 3 signature cocktails x 2 shots each. My favorites are Undercover, Heroes are built, Hola Polynesia and Enchanted Kiss. Excellent whisky bar.

1. Friendly and competent staff. Hannah who served my friends and I was delightful. Warm and friendly with good attentiveness without being intrusive.

2. Probably the best single malt selection in The Philippines! Quite a number of single malts that are no longer available in the market can be experienced by the glass.

3. If you consider that you are in a casino/hotel based bar and also if you compare prices on an international basis rather than just within The Philippines, they are reasonable with their pricing for most of their expressions. Some hard to find bottles do have a high premium applied.

From the moment one enters The Whisky Library they will know they’ve found a great bar!

The bottles on display are way too numerous to count. It’s a very high end place with some very high priced alcohol offerings from around the world yet one can have an excellent classic cocktail for around 400P.

Enjoy the ceremony of the cocktail waitress climbing the library ladder to retrieve top shelf bottles.
