Wabi Sabi Noodle House in Tomas Morato is truly a hidden gem, especially for those seeking a veggie-centric menu. Nestled in a cozy spot with only a few tables inside and out, it offers a peaceful and intimate dining experience. Arriving early ensures a spot indoors, where the quiet atmosphere enhances the meal. The food is served quickly, and everything tastes fresh, light, and satisfying, with all dishes being plant-based.
The Shoyu Ramen is a standout—flavorful, yet light on the palate. The veg chashu, with its mushroom-like texture, adds a unique depth to the dish. The ramen strikes the perfect balance of richness without being overwhelming. The Tantanmen is another hit, with the noodles and broth complementing each other beautifully. Both ramen dishes are comforting but not heavy, making them perfect for a fulfilling meal without feeling overstuffed.
To finish off the meal, the matcha kakigori is a refreshing dessert. The portion size is generous, and it’s the perfect way to cool down after a savory meal.

Read moreI’d give this place three and a half stars if not for the service and lack of information on the menu board. There is no description of anything - so you have to ask about each individual item you’re interested in and hope that your server is listening and will give you clear, accurate information (ours did not).
The food is tasty - mushroom shu mai are substantial and deliciously mushroomy, gyoza itself is just okay but the okonomiyaki dressing makes it extra yummy, and ramen noodles are springy and chewy. Skip the fried spring rolls - oily and odd tasting. The cua pao is also a miss - no pickled mustard and no flavour.
If you are vegan, you MUST state this clearly and ask for confirmation when your order is being taken. If you need any changes to the dish (like omitting the veggie meat in the ramen) you need to make double sure that the staff understand what you are asking for. I’m not sure if our server was having an off day but it was like pulling teeth to ask for sharing plates and extra...

Then we got the mango kakigori for dessert. Tasted good and satisfied our craving but the mango wasn’t sweet (though we were...
