Omakase Morato QC: A Fusion of Flavors in Quezon Omakase, located along Tomas Morato Avenue in Quezon City, offers a delightful twist on Japanese cuisine. They specialize in both classic Japanese dishes and inventive fusion creations. Here's a breakdown of my experience: Ambiance: The restaurant has a casual and inviting atmosphere. It's a good spot for a relaxed lunch or dinner with friends or family. Food: The menu boasts a wide variety of options, from sushi and sashimi to bento boxes and teppanyaki dishes. I opted for the Beef Teppanyaki: omakase.ph set, which came with tender slices of beef cooked on a teppan grill, along with kani tempura, sushi, miso soup, and rice. The beef was the star of the show - perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The kani tempura was crispy and light, and the sushi rice was well-seasoned. Fusion Focus: What truly sets Omakase apart is their fusion menu. If you're feeling adventurous, you can try dishes like their Aloha Chicken Roulade or Salmon Teppan. These creative options showcase the chefs' skills at blending Japanese techniques with other culinary influences. Price: Omakase offers good value for money. The portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable. You can expect to spend around PHP ₱400- 800 per person. Overall: If you're looking for a delicious and satisfying Japanese dining experience in Quezon City, Omakase is definitely worth a try. With their extensive menu, friendly service, and focus on both tradition and innovation, they have something to offer everyone. Highly recommended for small or large gatjerings.

Best Japanese restaurant in the Metro. They might be one of the rare Japanese dining places here in Quezon City that offers authentic Japanese cuisine and highlights the best of Japan. Everything was on point and totally worth the try. The first thing I ordered was their ramen which was not too salty nor spicy. Unlike other ramen places, their ingredients gave a fair mixed taste that complemented the whole bowl. Moreover, it was not overdone which made it closer to its original Japanese taste. The next item to try is their bento meals which was so on point and enough to make you feel full. The meat was tender and juicy. It was well-marinated and the seasoning was not overloaded. Moreover, the rice was legit Japanese rice because of the sticky but moist texture. It was not also salty because of the flavoring done to it. Omakase is a top Japanese place for me! Definitely 5 over 5 stars worthy!

Food was okay. Service was a bit subpar. The female staff looked like they didn't wanna be there even when we got there at lunch time and there weren't much customers. We also weren't told that the tonkatsu didn't come with rice which was weird. Some male staff were attentive though and made up for the bad service of the female staff by giving water refills even when we didn't ask for it. They also obliged when we asked for our gyoza to be fried. There were a lot of food options in their menu so it's not that bad. Maybe we came during a bad time for some of the staff.

Definitely needs an exhaust/ventilation upgrade. You could smell the oil even outside the main entrance. I even had an asthma attack while dining that’s how bad their ventilation was inside the store.

Food was mediocre. I dont know if my taste buds are just different to when I was younger but I found it less appetizing as I remembered, haven’t dined in Omakase in over 8years.

They also should hire more servers. Or an all around helper. Table beside us left 40 min ago and it still hasnt been cleared and sanitized. The 2 managers are busy attending to orders, the cashier, clearing tables, preparing orders and packing take outs. I just hope they are getting paid more than the...
