Budda Bar — Restaurant in Gdansk

Well, honestly I don’t like complaining! The service was very nice with warm welcome and wide smile :) thanks for that :) however we were not satisfied with the test of foods and portions of dishes! I paid 37 PLN for lamb Biraini, there was few pieces of meat and small portion rice, it’s joke the price is above the average compared to other restaurants located in Długa street but after paying around 40 PLN per dish I think it’s fair to wish to have enough portions? My wife ordered noodles with vegetables, it’s called chowmin in Nepal, we are from Nepal so we know the original taste of this food but we are aware that we can’t order same taste here, despite my wife asked cook to try to make original taste they served over cooked noodles almost half was swimming on deep oil ! I was here on the 75th Independence Day of India, the locations is quite good with beautiful view of the street and the two cathedrals on either side. Being vegan I have ordered tofu with plain naan, but the bartender girl bought tofu and rice. After mentioning that I have ordered plain naan instead of rice she bought me butter naan. Of course being vegan I will never eat it even if I get for free. She was so lost and finally after waiting a while some other bartender bought me plain naan. One and only one restaurant for Indian food I found during my 2 days of stay in Gdansk, Poland. the food was really very nice, delicious and freshly prepared...

Staff is also very nice and polite. we were amazed to find Indian food during our stay... interior and decoration of the restaurant is also very good and give us a feel of have food in India.....

Aroma of spices used for taste and flavoring in the dishes is mouth watering... Bar is also having a good selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to fulfill desire for all.

I will definitely go there again if got the change and recommend it for other who loves Indian...
