GingerKawa — Restaurant in Gdansk

An absolute find where you don't expect it. Relatively new cafe, but it has already managed to please with a large assortment, incredibly tasty lemonades with different flavors and, of course, great coffee. The irreplaceable part of the institution is its owner, aka barista. A great man of great soul, there is always something to talk about. Prices are more than human, on some points I would say that they are understated. It would be great to see the place grow and expand. I would like to see a big outside patio with tables, different cakes and handmade goodies. This place has all the chances for success, which is what I wish for them. We tried several coffee shops in Gdańsk and this was our favourite by far. The coffee was outstanding (especially the flat whites and espresso tonics) and the owner was there and so kind (and excellent taste in music!)

I asked for something not on the menu (matcha tonic) and it was no big deal.

The place is close to St. Mary’s basilica but just off the beaten track. It is cozy with only enough room for a couple people sitting, but there are park benches nearby.

I was there today and had a nice small cup of matcha latte. I passed by this place yesterday and today i gave myself a chance to taste their matcha. It was very good. You pay 3 zloty more for oat milk. This is a small coffee and tea place very few sitting places but outside there is two public benches which can as well be nice to sit and enjoy your take away coffee.

I will come back again next time i am visiting Gdansk again, and maybe try some Other...
