Visited this restaurant in a large group of ladies. Even though booking was made weeks in advance, the coordination was horrendous! Waited around an hour and a half to order wine, around 2 hours for food to start coming... Steaks, sauces and sides were ordered, but none of it came together. Some food was okay, but cold, some inedible and some just didnt arrive. This was not the worst thing! After continuous complaints, we were told we must sit and wait. There was a man sitting behind us, who became increasingly agitated, he had been helping himself to drinks and going into the kitchen, so must have had something to do with the restaurant. He started making gestures towards our party and even headbutted the air behind one of the ladies. The party had had enough, we wanted to leave but he locked the doors. We hadn't refused to pay, we offered 50% of the extortionate bill for what can only be described as an appalling meal and experience. When we eventually negotiated our way out of the restaurant, we were followed up the street by several men. We reluctantly paid 90% of the bill so we could continue our holiday without looking over our shoulders. A definite tourist trap, the other restaurants we visited were a fraction of the cost and some of the best dining experiences I have encountered. 150€ . Went home hungry. Salad was the best they had. In a steakhouse. The steaks were obviously cooked by someone who no idea how to do it. Why would you serve a steak on a sizzling pan other than for show? It went from medium to well done in a few minutes, like it’s supposed to do. The meat could not be eaten. It was like wool in your mouth. Came in sizzling in butter with garlic & rosemary. Sounds good?! Well, it was far from it. It’s not supposed to come like this. Steak is the star here, the meat. If it’s drenched in fat (a fatty steak already) plus the rest, you cannot taste the meat anymore. Plus, garlic? On a steak? It’s nonsense. Why? Leave the meat be, if it’s good. IF! You see outside and on the menu that they serve Wagyu beef, from their own cattle. I felt sorry leaving everything in the plate. Sorry for the animal that died for nothing. Everything was left. I could not chew it. I had to spit out chunks of it. Such a disappointment. I cannot put in words. I had wagyu. This was not. Lots of show for nothing! Wine ( best I could find, was some Spanish wine from 2014. Worst year in Europe for wine. Of course the owner bought it cheap. Supermarket wine sold in a restaurant.) All in all a huge, huge & expensive disappointment. Would stay away! P.S. the staff was lovely! Went above and beyond. But they are not responsible for...

Great food! I had their steak, and it was amazing—tender, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to a beautiful medium-rare with a perfect sear on the outside. The steak was juicy, flavorful, and melted in my mouth.

The service was also fantastic! As someone with gluten intolerance, I was impressed with how patient and attentive the staff were. They took the time to carefully read my allergy card and ensure my meal was safe for me.

Not all restaurants go this extra mile—I've been to two other places in Gdańsk where the staff barely glanced at my allergy card and just rushed to tell me the gluten-free options without really understanding my needs.

A special shoutout to Artur, who went above and beyond to answer all my questions. He even checked with the kitchen multiple times to ensure there was no cross-contamination, which is crucial for those of us with medical allergies. That level of care means so much!

Also, their beef is organic, which adds even more to the quality....

We happened to walk into a steakhouse after arriving from Vilnius, LT, and I was hungry for meat. After a quick glance at the menu, I decided to order the lamb chops, a favourite of mine. The lamb was absolutely delicious and for a few more minutes, after licking my fingers :))), I described the happiness I felt because of the perfect work of the restaurant team. Although I can't remember the name of the soup my husband ordered, he certainly enjoyed it. We were assisted by Natalia, a very nice person, who skilfully solved my problem regarding the unavailability of my favourite cocktail by offering an alternative that was even more delicious than my original choice. When I asked for a second cocktail, I asked for a completely different one, which was also excellent. After that we were surprised with their special alcoholic drink, plum infusion as a gift, it was the perfect dessert. This place is one love, I will definitely come back here again!!!

Restauracja pozycjonująca się, jako jedna z najlepszych w kwestii steków z wołowiny, w sobotni wieczór w porze kolacji, nie ma jednego z flagowych dań - steka z polędwicy wołowej. Sytuacje pogarsza kelner, tłumaczący że ten brak to kwestia dbałości o świeżość.. Proszę Państwa - tak zadbaliście o świeżość, że nie miałem okazji skosztować 🙂 I proszę nie tłumaczyć, że ruch był nadspodziewany, bo umiejętność planowania, to jedna ze składowych prowadzenia świetnej knajpy - wszystko inne jest pakowaniem w barwne opakowanie swojej niedostatecznej organizacji. Dalej kelner bardzo poleca rostbef - ‚wszyscy goście zadowoleni’. I teraz sedno - ten stek nie jest dobrze zrobiony - miał byc ‚rare’, jest może gdzieś między ‚medium rare’ i ‚rare’ ale jest piekielnie obrobiony na zewnątrz. Nie jest skarmelizowany, chrupiący, jest twardy w sposób przesadzony i wysuszony. W środku mieso jest w porządku ale kęs na początku soczysty, po chwili zmienia się w coś, co przypomina trociny. To nie jest stek, który zachował chrupkość przy jednoczesnym zachowaniu tłuszczu i soczystości. Później znów dziwna rozmowa z Panem obsługującym, który nie jest w stanie przyjąć uwag, tylko na siłę szuka pozytywnych stron - serio, po co? Czy muszę być zadowolony, nawet jeśli robota jest źle wykonana? Na plus przegrzebki na przystawkę, na plus sałatka, w porządku tatar, side dishes raczej standardowe - grillowane warzywa, szpinak, shitake. Ogólny odbiór ociepla Pani, która obsługuje nas na koniec. W swobodnej rozmowie wprowadza nuty cennego luzu. Mam następującą refleksję - po co tak mocno push’ować klienta na coś, do czego nie był przekonany? Z własnego przekonania, że alternatywa jest rzeczywiście świetna, czy chodzi jedynie o domknięcie stołu, a nie satysfakcję? Jeśli to pierwsze, to należy szybko po podaniu pojawić się przy stole i sprawdzić, czy odbiorca faktycznie jest zadowolony. Jeśli nie jest, to nie jest miejsce na polemikę i relatywizowanie, to jest moment na poprawienie steka - po prostu. Moja towarzyska na główne danie jadła stek z tuńczyka - był solidny. Natomiast wciąż jednak daleko mu do atun rojo z Hiszpanii, gdzie sama oliwa i sól załatwiaja sprawę na top. Finalnie mieszane uczucia, choć miejsce ma potencjał i fajny klimat . Być może nie mieliśmy szczęścia. Myślę, że w przyszłości sprawdzimy, czy był to jedynie przypadek.

Delmonico came highly recommended for its beef and the Tomahawk steak did not disappoint! Perfectly cooked, juicy and tender. However, there is some very misleading information in the menus: stating that Wagyu is called Kobe in Japan, which IS WRONG! Seems like they’re trying to throw in the word Kobe to trick tourists into thinking they’re eating some premium beef…. In addition to this the service here isn’t the best. We waited almost 1 hour before we were served any water/drinks. The waiters were busy talking to each other and ignoring us. Tip of the day: DO NOT ORDER THE CHIMICHURRI. It tasted like banana… NOT GOOD
