Radocha — Restaurant in Krakow

This is a nice little place to meet friends. The staff frequently comes around to clean and adjust tables outside. They have 4 Czech beers on tap which you can have with fruit syrup. The atmosphere outside is very nice, it's not too loud with plenty of space. The clientele is very diverse and multinational. The few food options they have are good and they give good portions. The inside is very cozy and basically empty when everyone is sitting outside. The only reason they get 4 and not 5 is because of their bathrooms. This may sound silly for a bar, but it is an important part of any establishment, especially one with a diverse clientele. Lovely summer garden. The basement bar has a 90s charm and could do with a bit of love and perfume.

Don't let that put you off. It's cosy and warm and the well kept beer and delicious food speaks for itself. The service is really friendly.

Hands down, these are some of the best fries in Krakow- they are clearly made here and not bought in frozen. Seriously moreish, you might just buy a second portion.

The plates of food on offer are large and make a good sharer if you're looking for a snack. You won't be hungry. The deep fried, breaded cheese is my favourite, but really everything on the menu is decent.

I only had a couple of drinks, so I cannot comment on the food. The bar is situated in the basement of a historic building and has a very pleasant terrace outside the front. The drinks selection is designed to avoid mass-produced stuff so you can enjoy good beers, wines, and spirits, especially locally produced. The prices are very reasonable.

The food menu looked quite brief, but there was something for everyone on there - typical bar food.

The drinks we had (beer and Polish vodka) were superb, and the bar tender (possibly owner?) was friendly and funny and knowledgeable about the drinks menu.
