Nago Sushi & Sake — Restaurant in Krakow

1 star because of the immensely scammy way a 10% "waiter's service" fee was introduced to the bill. We didn't ask to tip, he didn't ask if we wanted to tip, there wasnt this service in the menu, he just casually added it to the bill, which I unfortunately saw after leaving the restaurant. It's usual in Krakow that If you speak English, they will try to take advantage of you in some places and this one is like that. Shame on you for doing that because not only you'll get a bad review for me, and you're ruining every comment I had for the whole experience, but also other people will not come to your restaurant after seeing that you're making such disgusting practices. I honestly hope you'll fire the waiter, but as I read from comments this isn't the only time this happened, so probably the owner is more than happy to allow this.

The food was okay, we sat in the bar which was a great experience to see the sushi chef in action and actually discuss with him. He made some nice dishes. Nothing incredible, just good sushi, but my experience is ruined after getting scammed...

This is my second review of Nago and my first one is below. I’ve been back to Nago many times since my first review, but I thought I needed to post a second one as they recently updated their menu, and let me tell you, they just keep getting better. Arthur and team are always pushing for the best experience and as an Japanese, I really appreciate what they do. Their owner is also passionate and super nice. They have a great sake selection, and even have some shochu, which is highly appreciated 👌 If you haven’t already, give them a try, you’ll want to come back asap!

I went to this place based on recommendations from a friend and it did not disappoint! I tried the omakase and Arthur really hit a home run on all cylinders. The ambiance in the restaurant is nice, and he also brought out dishes that paired well with the sake that we ordered. We decided to visit this sushi restaurant today. I want to start from the beginning and I will gladly leave an honest review. The restaurant's exterior is appealing, the interior is beautiful, everything is clean and nice. The waiters are very polite and pleasant I was happy to leave them a tip for such good service. The food is a completely different story if I say it was awful I would simply be complimenting it it was disgusting! They probably ordered the rolls from a supermarket on discount. You can see everything below yourself. The thickness of the rolls is simply astonishing photo below! The rubbery pieces of fish are horrifying. But the packaging is excellent a beautiful stylish box 🤣😂 The Tom Yum soup was not just spicy it was dragon's breath my husband finished it in one moment I was afraid of a gastritis attack 😢 Overall if you want to sit in a beautiful place with nice polite and attentive waiters then this is the place for you but if you want to eat you need to go...
