We are from the San Francisco Bay Area in California and eat a lot of Japanese food. This restaurant was as good as the top ramen restaurants we’ve been to there. We got the Shoyu Ramen and the Beef Curry and both were incredible. The ramen noodles had the perfect texture, and the beef was melt in your mouth with the perfect amount of fat and gelatin; the generous serving of rice was optimal for enjoying the flavorful curry. We also got the chicken karaage which had a perfect crunchy skin without too much breading - it also had a subtle ginger flavor which was unique and delicious; best karaage we’ve ever had.
Júlia provided us with attentive service with a smile, which really enhanced our experience! She did an amazing job.
A suggestion for the place: invest in more lighting for the outdoor patio and I think it will pay dividends. It’s clear the kitchen works hard on the food’s presentation, so good lighting will be a big help for everyone to enjoy their meal. It will also attract more clients.
Highly recommended experience and we will be...
Read moreDon't know if we came at a bad time, but we received terrible service. We sat there for around 45 minutes after ordering while making eye contact with our waiters, basically eating air from hunger. We asked if our food was coming out and got a no, but did not get a check in or clarification of when it would come out. Can't even rate the food because we didn't get to try any of it except for the miso, which came out lukewarm after 20 minutes of waiting. It's concerning how long the miso took. We did not order any appetizers. We watched tables around us that came in AFTER us get served before we did. We were disappointed since no one came to check in on us or reassured us that our food was coming. We honestly think that they didn't even input our order. After 45 minutes of waiting, we left. Clear your schedule for the whole day, or maybe even the whole week if you plan...
Read moreI can’t believe this place. We are 100% native Japanese and their Gyoza & Tonkatsu are better than any of my past experience. They are far bigger than regular size in Japan and taste much better. Gyoza was so juicy & tasty and Tonkatsu was so soft inside and crispy outside!! To tell the truth, we were not too hungry when we got there but the Shio Ramen was too great to skip and we would have regretted if hadn’t. Ontama eggs, Charshu Pork and the thinner but hard Chijire noodles were perfectly cooked. Then the soup was so amazing that I couldn’t waste a drip. We definitely want to come back again to conquer other things on the menu like Tori Karaage and...
