We ate dinner here on our last night in Coimbra. There was a sign on the window indicating that the restaurant accepts cryptocurrencies and we had confirmed this with the owner of the restaurant earlier in the day. At 9 pm, we were the only people in the restaurant. The service was attentive with 1 waiter and 2 chefs. We ordered a francesinha, fries, salad, and wine. The food arrived quickly and was alright. The fries were homemade and nice but everything else was a bit too salty. Free bread and olives were a plus. The only issue was when we tried to pay, the waiter did not know how to process the transaction and had to call the owner of the restaurant. This took nearly half an hour but we were able to pay for our meal in Cardano $ADA. The waiter did not speak English but was friendly and tried his best to communicate. Overall, would not repeat the experience. Three stars for effort and for the fact that we paid for...

In Australia crab meat is an awful blend of manufactured seafood substance that you buy deep fried at your local fish and chip shop. The difference is that it is labelled crab meat and it is cheap. This dish cost us 40 euros. As a tourist I don’t expect special treatment, I do however expect that my money will get me the same quality of food as the table next to me. Restaurants such as this do themselves no favours serving poor food to tourists as sadly for them we are the ones most likely...

The only reason we chose to eat there was because it was our last night in Portugal/Europe, we wanted to use our credit card and the place nearby, the one we wanted to go, didn't accept credit cards. The tiny plate of olives plus two little packages of butter they put on your table were considered "regional appetizer" and costed 4.5 euros! For the few pieces of bread they gave you, they charged 2 euros because it contained two kinds of bread. it seemed like there were a few choices for the side potato, but we were not given the choices. We were just given potato chips, maybe because we were obviously foreigners? Also the waitress was really pushing us ordering the most expensive dish they have on the menu; I did...
