Beloponto Churrasqueira & Petiscos — Restaurant in Faro

5 star review all around. From the food to the service, this restaurant was a fantastic choice for our lunch. We were exhausted following a day of off-roaring and wanted meat and vegetables. Easy to find, right? After looking at reviews and menus online we found Beloponto (and so glad we did).

The food is fresh and well seasoned. They’ve got a great selection of tapas and main dishes, we settled on the Portuguese steak and Pica Pau (steak cubes with pickled veggies in a gravy). Both choices were perfect!

In addition to the satisfying meal, the service was also a highlight. Special shout out to Gonzalo who made the experience extraordinary! He is beyond equipped for the role and gave great recommendations for our stay in Faro. We highly recommended...

We recently had the most delightful lunch at Beloponto Churrasqueira in Faro, and it was an absolute treat. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Gonçalo, who treated us like family and was incredibly helpful in suggesting delicious menu items.

Every single dish we tried was outstanding. The soup was flavorful, the roasted chicken was perfectly cooked and juicy, and the steak was simply divine. And let's not forget the fries – crispy, golden, and utterly addictive!

Gonçalo's and the rest of the staff's genuine hospitality and exceptional quality of the food made our lunch at Beloponto Churrasqueira an unforgettable experience. We can't wait to return...

I'm not one for leaving negative reviews but I'll make an exception here, purely to warn others. April 2025. Television. Why? It's 7.39 in the evening, you're selling food and atmosphere, so why the telly? Musak. Why a collection of '70's disco? If you really HAVE to have musak play something soft and gentle And, finally, the food: I had Prawn Stew. This consisted of mashed carrots and potatoes with prawns in an aluminium saucepan. OK, until they SWAMPED it in coriander completely destroying any flavour. And then, if that wasn't bad enough, plonked a raw egg on the top. Even thinking about it makes my gorge rise. Not...
