A grill joint where locals and tourists come for take away or dining onsite. Orders are by weight so you can define your own portion. From the must try chicken piri - piri to other local specialties, fries, rice, salads, dessert (sweets & fresh fruit) they offer these fresh every day. Try also the deep fried snacks: a various kinds of croquettes & rissoles. It seems like they rotate the dishes on the menu for lunch and dinner. One day I ordered bacalhau com nata, the next day I came back but there was no bacalhau com nata, I took salsichas (grilled sausage) instead.
I ate here several times (lunch and dinner) and ordered a takeaway one day. There are several tables also upstairs on the terrace.
The staff are wonderful and you get surely value for your money. Payment by debit/credit card or cash.

Read moreI was suggested this place for peri peri chicken from a local and she said ‘this is the best peri peri you’ll find in Lagos’ and it didn’t disappoint! The place is not fancy, you get more of a canteen vibe with trays and you can autonomously pick your seat, service is fast and efficient, also they have a small terrace from which you can admire the square. The food is simply delicious, for the price of 9€ I got half chicken with peri peri condiment, chips and a small super bock beer, pretty decent I’d say considering the quality and the freshness of the chicken, they also have proper main courses such as baked pork/ baked potatoes/ great selection of vegetables, I was so impressed by the food that I decided to come back twice, in a...
Read moreThis place is exactly as it should be. Pick your favourite food in separate bowls and plates, and dig in. The grilled chicken was amazing - I highly recommend the spicy version. They add this zingy lemony hot sauce just before they serve it. Amazeballs. Everything else was brilliant. Tomato salad, rice (make sure to pour the juices from the chicken on top), potatoes, beetroot salad. Can't go wrong with this place. Wholesome, local, down to earth locale, with tables on the roof top as well, overlooking the walls around the city. Paid 18€ and change for a meal for two, and sodas. Nearly rolled down the stairs. Ate our hearts out. When I'm able to walk again, I'm coming back for more. Pictures from the...
