Indigo Bar — Restaurant in Lagos

It’s a cute looking spot so we went a few weeks ago and it was a bit of a disaster in the afternoon. We asked if we could sit outside and were told yes but no one came to clean the table (or to even take the money left from the previous customer) for about 30 minutes. At this point we’d gone in a few times and there was just absolutely no one inside, including staff. We were only told after waiting for 30 minutes that the kitchen was closed (the only reason we’d waited is because everything was closed that day and we were starving). So we wanted to have drinks but the bar wasn’t serving drinks. Only coffee or wine. And then it took another 20 minutes to get two iced coffees. Absolutely AMAZING experience!! The drinks were some of the best we ever had. I got an amaretto, sour and a passion star martini, my partner got the espresso martini. Not only were the drinks delicious they were also so beautiful!!! The staff was so unbelievably sweet and kind. They don’t even have an amaretto sour on the menu but the bartender was kind enough to make it for me and it was the best drink I’ve ever had. The bartenders name was Victor and our waitress name was Matilda both we amazing and so sweet. Highly recommend this place to anyone! The atmosphere and decor were also amazing. Overall 11/10 on drinks, services, and atmosphere!!! Can’t stress enough how much we loved this place. We will definitely come back when we visit...

Before hitting our dinner spot, we decided to check out this bar because it looked so inviting from the outside. We didn't know the place yet but the design and location really caught our eye and attention. As we walked up to the rooftop, we were greeted by very friendly staff who didn't mind us asking lots of questions about the different drinks (there are a looot to choose from!) and showed much patience as we each decided on which drink we each wanted to try.
