Got the pastel de bacalhau (codfish cake) and pastel de nata (egg custard pastry) for a small lunch, both were delicious if a bit overpriced. The pastel de nata had a hint of cinnamon which was a pleasant touch. The bathrooms were very clean.
Tourists are clearly the target clientele, for better or worse. Everyone spoke excellent English and they accepted international credit cards, but they also added an "optional" 8% service fee (aka a tip) per default which none of the more local restaurants even asks for. Second, we asked to be moved to another table, they said yes and we moved there. After that they came back and said we cant sit there because there was a reservation.
