A Memorable Experience at Adega Do Atum
If you find yourself in Lisbon and are looking for a dining experience that not only satisfies your palate but also warms your heart, look no further than Adega Do Atum. Our visit was made unforgettable, thanks in large part to our delightful hostess, Louisa, who hails from Nepal.
From the moment we walked through the door, Louisa's radiant smile and welcoming demeanor made us feel right at home. Her genuine enthusiasm for the restaurant and its offerings was palpable, and it was clear that she truly enjoys her role as a hostess. Louisa took the time to engage with us, sharing her personal favorites from the menu and providing insightful recommendations that catered to our tastes. Her accommodating nature was remarkable; she went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, from adjusting our table to giving us extra time to decide on our orders.
Louisa’s vibrant personality and warmth were the highlights of our evening. It was her charm and attentiveness that made us choose to dine at Adega Do Atum in the first place, and we couldn’t be happier with our decision. The food was exquisite, but it was Louisa’s exceptional service that truly elevated our experience.
If you’re planning a visit, be sure to ask for Louisa—her passion for hospitality is infectious, and her recommendations are spot on. We left feeling not just satisfied with our meal, but also grateful for the lovely experience she created for us.
In a city as vibrant as Lisbon, it’s the people that make a place special, and Louisa is undoubtedly one of the gems in this restaurant. We can’t recommend Adega Do Atum highly enough, and we look forward to returning, hopefully to see Louisa again!
Overall, if you’re in Lisbon, don’t miss out on the chance to enjoy a meal at Adega Do Atum you won’t regret it!

Read moreFood poisoning alert! What a shame the owner did not care to reply. Although the staff were friendly on the night, I was left with food poisoning from the seafood I ate at this restaurant. Unfortunately, it ruined the rest of our trip (another 3 days) as I was unable to eat or do anything properly - and we ate here for my boyfriend’s birthday. I was left with vomiting, diarrhoea and a temperature in the short term. Muscle aches, no energy and no appetite all still apply. My partner returned to the restaurant the next day to explain what happened and he was told the owner would be in touch. He was told to send through the receipts for the food and medication. The owner did not even have the decency to call and apologise. For some reason, the manager was unable to make a decision as to how to handle the situation. Avoid this restaurant, especially if you...

We (2 of us) ordered a paella nero, a salad and a vegetable soup. All the dishes were not overly salty and are enhanced by the freshness of the ingredients
My dish was the paella nero - it was light and full of flavours. The rice was very tasty and soaked up the seafood flavour compounded with mix of red peppers and artichoke bits. It was my first time having paella so I am glad I had a pleasant introduction to this dish.
Highly recommend for relaxing and slow dinner. This place or area was supposed to be very vibrant but today the weather was interrupted by unpredictable evening rain and wind. The food we ordered filled us with great warmth.
Thank you
The waiter was kind enough to introduce us to the Portugal cherry liquor and brought out blanket for us to...
