The worst experience we had in a week in Lisbon, unfortunately. Went for New Year’s Eve. We’re not informed that their regular menu would not be available, only their €75per person menu with very limited options. Okay, fine, we understood that was typical and since we had already made the reso we’re okay to splurge on cost for a good meal. But the second we sat down the service was dismal. They didn’t even speak to us once or introduce the menu or anything. One of our party was gluten free, but before we could tell them that, they planted a plate of the first course “bites” to our table without any cutlery, plates, drink orders or any intro about what we were being served. When we finally got ahold of someone to explain the gf, they took away their small bite, and served the gf starter much later, when the rest of the table had been pushed to the second course. Still no water or drinks at this point. Once food was dropped off they didn’t once check on us, even though we planned to order a bottle of wine after our cocktails, it was so delayed we had already been given the main course when our cocktails were coming. Immediately after dessert they presented the bill with 8% service tip included. It was extortionately expensive considering the horrendous service and overall very unmemorable food. I never leave negative reviews but it was seriously a terrible experience, especially for a New Year’s Eve celebration. I hope no one spends...
Read moreIf I could give 0 stars I would. We ordered starter and main. Starter came quick, but after starter after 40min waiting we asked about our mains. Waitress said its already on the plate and its coming. 10 more minutes - nothing, we asked again, waitress said its coming. 10 min more. So after 1.5 hour after we ordered food (1 hour after starter came) we got our main. Octopus was a disaster, codfish was 5/10. But as always nobody was coming even to check if we need anything, and I was lack of wine for a long time. So I said that we need a bill and about waiting time and that octopus is not good prepared ( and I have octopus everyday here). Octopus was like a chewing gum. It was Hard even to cut it.Waitress never said sorry, was arrogant, started to arguing that it was not one hour, however we had pictures of starter where she could see time of a picture as well as in picture of main dish. Took my octopus, brought to chef and said “octopus is good”. She said that she will not give a discount and I must to pay for octopus I did not eat. When we asked for manager she said that manager is not here. When I was talking to her she was trying to ignore and walk away. Please, don’t go here, save your time and money, there is plenty of better places. Really awful service. Waitresses like her should not work...
