Update: after a month we decided to come back. The meat was amazing as it always was. I don’t know what you do with it but this is a perfection. Still no hot drinks though which is kind of sad in this weather. The attitude from person was warm and friendly. Thank you. Will be back again🙌 Previous experience: About second week this place is open and we’ve been here already 5th time. My kids go to school nearby so this is handy. I think we must be considered as regular customers. But I am not satisfied, actually very disappointed right now. This is how they treat their regular customers here⬇️
Today my other kid is sick and he couldn’t join us for the lunch but he asked to bring him 2 steaks from here. We are asking the waiter if they can add to our order that we are having inside the restaurant also takeaway a couple of steaks. She says NO we don’t do takeaway. I say why is this and explain the situation either my son, She called (I guess )a higher ranking person and she also said: No we don’t give takeaways.
I said: “but last time we didn’t finish our food and you put it in boxes for us. So you have boxes.” She replied: “Yes, only if you don’t finish your food. Because steaks are only good when they are cooked”
But my child cannot be here!!!!! So he will be happy for any steaks. So I had to order 4 steaks and all of the food for them to see i didn’t finish it and to pack it with me after! Do they realise the steaks would be a bit better if they were at least packed and not staying outside with the flies flying around and then packed.
She didn’t care for my story about my other child wanted to eat their stakes. You know that next time it is sooo easy for me just to order steaks from another steakhouse and be delivered directly home?!??! So this is how they treat regulars.
To the manager: you should separate - yes you don’t do takeaways for people who just wait in the street. But what is the problem to add takeaway for people who are eating IN THE RESTAURANT !? It is common practice to at least have your desert takeaway, this increase YOUR...
Read moreI recently visited this restaurant with my three dogs, planning to meet friends for lunch. Before going, I tried to call the restaurant to confirm whether they accepted dogs, but their Google Maps profile had no phone number and no website, which already made things difficult. Since we were nearby, I decided to pass by and check in person.
At the entrance, there was a prominent “dog-friendly” sticker, which made me genuinely happy and reassured. We went inside, waited for our table, and just when we were about to sit down, the staff kindly told us they only allow up to two dogs per table inside. We then decided to sit outside. I felt bad that my friends had to sit in the cold just because of me and my dogs.
Later, when I went back inside only to pay, another staff member told me I couldn’t come in with three dogs at all. She said the rule was one dog per person. These rules were not visible at the entrance—only a hidden sign inside a hallway where you wouldn’t normally look, which also by the way indicates a max. of 4 dogs at the restaurant in total. So you may arrive there and hear your dog can’t go in because there are already “too many” dogs.
When I suggested the rules should be placed somewhere more visible, I was told they already were—which I disagree with. And the explanation for the rules (“imagine if everyone came here with three dogs”) felt unrealistic and unhelpful.
In the end, this entire situation could have been easily avoided if the restaurant had a visible list of rules, a phone number, or a website on Google Maps. And especially if the dog-friendly sticker clarified the actual limits (e.g., “dog-friendly: up to 1 dog per person”). I wouldn’t have chosen the restaurant if that information had been clear from the start.
While I respect that restaurants can set their own policies, clarity and transparency are essential—especially when they advertise themselves as dog-friendly.
I am most certainly not coming back - there are many other restaurants that I’ve brought my dogs without going through any hassle, let alone two...
Read moreBlade! A hidden gem in a sea of restaurants in Lisbon. Can not recommend this place enough. Amazing value for your money.
Two of us stopped by chance as I smelled freshly made popcorn coming from the restaurant.
We then realized it was a steak place so we opted to stay. The menu was simple and direct. Just the perfect amount of items to make for easy choosing (I hate multiple page menus. Too many choices make life difficult) We got served our freshly made cups of popcorn and ordered our drinks, Basil smash and a passion fruit aperol (both delicious) We ordered our steaks (medium rare) w/ the some yummy side dishes (salad, creamed spinach, mushroom rice and mashed potatoes) so basically all the sides except the fries. Steak was made perfect (shoulder I beleive) and sides were very yummy and presentable. Considering everything we ate, we each paid 18 euros. VERY good price for all the food. At the end, as promotion, they gave us a scoop of ice cream to go. We left Blade full, very satisfied and our wallets thanked us. Great value for price and very good food. Could not...
