My wife and I recently visited this cafe, and while there were some positives, our experience was ultimately disappointing.
The atmosphere was pleasant, and I enjoyed a lovely hot lavender tea. Initially, our server was friendly and attentive, which set a good tone for our meal. However, when my wifeâs breakfast dish arrived, it didnât match the menu description. The item claimed to have sausage, but what she received looked more like an uncooked hot dog, which was confusing given the restaurantâs American city theme.
When we brought this up, our server was understanding and quickly arranged for a replacement, which we appreciated. However, the situation took a turn at the time of payment. I ordered something with smoked salmon, however they didnât deliver it, which I was told about when they were bringing in the main course, they gave me bacon instead, which I was ok with, but I would expect that they would tell me when I was ordering. In general it lacked logistics and to be fair the food wasnât bad. But still when visiting Lisbon, I would search...
