Had Breakfast,Lunch and Dinner at various times during our stay as this Cafe/ Restaurant was enroute to our Apartment on the slopes of the Castle 🏰
And every time we were not disappointed with the quality of the food, well cooked, tasty and a delicious variety of dishes on the menu as well as a Daily Specials menu, always cooked with a Portuguese twist 👍
The weather was with us during our visit, so we always enjoyed our meals outside in square in front of the cafe and at the top of a steep set of steps, watching 👀 lots of people struggling to get wherever they were heading.

We tried the grilled dourada which was cooked to perfection. The fish was perfectly grilled and tasted fresh. Boiled broccoli and carrot accompanied the fish. The potatoes were roasted well with a perfect crusty layer. We had the port wine along with the fish. The wine wasn’t special and tasted good as usual. The staffs are good and speaks English. Read moreIf you're walking down the zig-zagging pathways from Lisboas Castelo de São Jorge to the old city center, you might stumble across this lovely Cafe, situated in a little square bedween tiled houses, cobblestone alleys and stairs leading down. The staff was super-friendly an led us to a table outside underneath an umbrella next to a old fountain. We wanted breakfast and the menu had a nice variety of choices ranging from a simple croissant to a full breakfast with eggs and ham, bread, juice and coffee.
