What looked like a promising stay, turned out to be terrible. No heating. Terrible wifi. No flexibility from management. Two of us stayed at what looked like a premium 2 bedroom apartment for 5 nights. Paying 200 euro per night you would expect the basic things to be taken care of. The problems with heating and wifi; were informed to the staff, they said an engineer would look at it. The engineer is a no-show on day 2/3/4. We requested portable heaters that arrived on our last night!! The wifi, they couldn't fix! We both work online, and this was a huge problem. After several discussions with the staff their best suggestion was a switch to a one bedroom apartment, which the managers themselves knew to be inadequate. As guests we were a little too lax. Should have cancelled the booking on day 2 and requested a full refund for the outstanding nights for issues not solved. But we gave them the benefit of doubt, and that they would solve the issues with the room. That never happened. At the end they offered a measly 5% off our stay, which is wholly unacceptable. The manager on the night acknowledged it himself, but claimed his hands were tied by an owner who never showed up. It takes a lot to write a bad review, I would stay away from a stay here. This was not a premium stay. Even if everything was working, it would be average at best. Do not stay on the 3rd floor - the wifi does not work and nothing they can (or want to) do about it. Hope this helps someone avoid our situation. MK

It’s a nice place, with usual number of amenities. Nothing out of extra ordinary. Remember pool and gym are in a separate building short walk down the block. The best part of hotel is location. You are with in walking distance of all major tourist attractions: go up or down or sideways, you can walk there with in 25 min radius or take a tuktuk. Food and night life is all there, as the neighbors underwear hanging into your face of the second floor, remember you are in a city build in Middle Ages. So it’s not Ritz. If you are for a long stay and want to save few bucks, go to supermarket next to the elevator, walk out of hotel make a right, walk down and keep left. You will see it. Beer 80c, sausages 94c, salmon sandwich less than 4$

I stay at this hotel for one night, and they have two buildings. One the same as the reception and the other just down the corner with the outdoor pool and gym My check in was fantastic and quick, I like the lobby and the decor a lot. The receptionist both at check in and check out are very nice. The room I got was in the same building as the reception, it quiet at night no noise and the room feel freshly renovated with nice simplistic design The only trouble I would say is the Wi-Fi connection of my room, it’s sporadic and it would not be sustainable for working remotely using this Wi-Fi. Otherwise, I will come back and stay here again for sure.

This was a great place to stay in Lisbon. It was a good location, and the apartment was large and comfortable. The front desk staff were lovely and very helpful, giving us iced water when we arrived during a heatwave.|It’s accessible by car although it’s a very narrow one-way street. It’s on the side of the hill so there are some steps to go up or down, but there’s also an escalator if you follow Farinhas along to Eschadinas da Saude. |We stayed on a one bedroomed apartment – it’s in a separate building a couple of doors up from the one where the reception is and this is the building that has the pool. We were on the first floor of three floors – those on the ground floor have patios outside. There was an elevator for all floors. |I really liked our apartment. It was like a ‘normal’ apartment rather than a hotel one and was big, bright and cheerful, and had lots of room and storage. Temperature control was great, with double glazed windows - despite the heatwave (33-36 C the whole time), we only used the airconditioning a couple of times to cool it down during the afternoon, and didn’t need it at all at night.|Our room was on the corner of the street so if we left the blinds up, people could look up and see in a bit but it also had blinds to block that out and it got really good airflow. It was at the back of the building so no view over Lisbon – I’d probably book one of those next time although I was pretty happy with this one. |We had a kitchen area, table and 4 chairs, a lounge and a separate bedroom as well as a massive bathroom with a spa bath, sink, loo and bidet. |The kitchen was a full sized one including a fridge, and we got washing up liquid and sponge. |We had a comfortable king bed with two pillows and a bedside lamp each.|The pool was cool even in the scorching sun. We only used it once, but it was great to have it there. |There is also parking under this building next to the pool , and a gym and they looked fine although we didn’t use them.|To consider - I really liked this place so while there's a few things that weren't optimal but definitely nothing that would stop me staying here again. |The room cleaning was fine but the people doing it seemed to take hours and were very loud. We siesta-ed a few times and every time got woken by them shouting to one another between apartments. We also had an issue where our door needed a good tug to close it and we came home once to find it had not been closed properly and had swung open after the cleaners had been in. |The floors are polished concrete which transmitted noise in the building, so if you do stay on one of the upper floors, please consider your downstairs neighbours and slip off your shoes before doing your 10,000 steps at 11pm. |It was fiesta time and a live band set up across the road right across from us one night, obviously going to play into the night – we spoke to reception to see if there were any options and they said they were full, and they weren’t happy themselves but it would be finished by 12. Not much we could do about it and I ended up being pretty impressed at how much noise the double glazing kept out. The bedroom location was away from it as well so a bit of white noise on a portable speaker and me, a light sleeper, actually slept. And they did finish at 12.|All the front desk staff were great but the manager might need to review their own customer service approach – getting grumpy at the hot air getting in when guests struggle in the front door with suitcases isn’t very welcoming.|No full length mirror, be good to have one stuck on the back of a...

We stopped here for a long weekend. It was a bit scary arriving in the dark because it's not that easy to tell where the front door is as the reception area is very dark. Once we found the hotel though we were greeted and got checked in quickly. ||||The rooms were modern and clean with a good heating system. At the risk of sounding like a typical Brit abroad, the only thing that would have made it better would have been a kettle rather than an espresso maker! The espressos were really good though (once we had figured out how to work the machine).||||We paid for a breakfast a couple of times which was lovely and really reasonably priced. There were some interesting vegan options including a delicious cashew cheese.||||As two girls we didn't want to wander too far at night in the dark so we found the location to be excellent as it's in a little street with some cute bars and restaurants.||||The hotel reception were very helpful and let me borrow a plug adapter. If you have any problems then you can send a WhatsApp message if you don't want to walk down to reception.||||I would definitely stop here again if I'm...
