To close off our time here in Lisbon, we decided to eat at Caso Sério. We picked the restaurant mostly based on looks while passing it earlier that evening.
It turned out to be one of the better decisions we made this vacation. Absolutely lovely calm atmosphere outside, with a pleasant warm breeze in my back.
The food was just as nice as our location. For starters we shared some bread with olive oil and garlic. I was surprised by the amount of vegetarian options, every course had at least a few.
We decided to go for the Aubergine. It was delicious. We decided that the leftover garlic which had previously been bathing in the olive oil, would be perfect to sprinkle over the rice. Would recommend 👌🏻.
For desserts each of us chose something different. One a lemon pie, the other the chocolate cake, no ice cream. Honestly I can't pick a favourite, they were both so good. We ended up sharing the both of em with eachother.
Good was great, location was cute and prices were very fair. Truly a lovely spot, I would recommend this over any of the other places...
Read moreAfter 4 weeks in Sicily, my wife and I were looking for a real change with food. The Caso Sèrio provided such a change.
With warm friendly staff to welcome us.
We ordered Tapas of course, with Goat Cheese and Honey laud on a bed of toast, which was absolutely delicious. Then we had the Bell Peppers with Mozzarella, again absolutely delicious. Then we had the Orange Chicken and Pineapple Salad. Wow it was so fresh and full of taste. The chicken was so nice, perfectly cooked. Then the Aubergine and Tomato Gratin, absolutely delicious! Ended the food with Portuguese Tarts and oh my, they were sooo nice!
With the cozy ambience, hoping the photos demonstrate that. Along with smooth music, we moved to lounge and enjoyed some Portugal red wine, which was really nice. Lovely place over all!!
If you’re wanting great food with great ambience, then Caso Sèrio is the place...
Read moreWe ordered snacks for wine, but some of them were not brought. There were appetizers of uncleaned shrimp served with mayonnaise, bought from the nearest store surprised us a lot. We also ordered something like fries, but they were aldente, although it's more like almost raw. The olives were also terrible, I didn't think it was possible to see such a thing in Portugal. The waiter kept complaining that he was tired and several times forgot to deliver the order. Thank God, when paying, there was no problem with the order being partially not delivered and we paid less. First time in Portugal, such an unexpectedly bad impression of...
