Would give 4.5 actually, only because they don’t accept card payments. Otherwise it will be 10000/5. Wonderful place to eat only few meters away from the crowd of tourist trap restaurants. We almost gave up to find place to eat, it was almost 10 pm and most of restaurants rejected us because it’s already late. Then we found this hidden place. The owner was very nice, they let us in eve though it’s almost the closing time. The cheapest yet best food we ever had in Lisbon. Been trap in overly priced restaurants multiple times which served very basic bland food. But this one different! We had the grilled sea bass and pork ribs. Which was incredible. Insane value for money in Lisbon, and an authentic local experience unembellished by any touristic distractions. Ordered the grilled sea bass, grilled salmon and grilled pork steak, all of which were great. The pork steak in particular stood out - not many places can claim to serve a smoky pork steak that satisfies in terms of texture, flavour and portion size. This is the sort of pork steak that outclasses certain steak houses.

3 mains, 2 desserts and 1 jug of wine for €37.

Don't let the humble appearance of this place deceive you, it is a thoroughly delightful experience. My only hesitation about writing this stellar review is that it detracts from me calling this little hidden...

Family business where you feel you are eating local, simple and fresh food.

We had pretty much every single dish: salmon, grouper, sardinhas, bacalhau a bras and dourada.

The best taste was the sardinhas but it is quite strong so it depends on your taste buds.

Grouper and dourada were lovely.

And the worst was the bacalhau a bras which is ot necessarily bad.

Dishes are going from 9 to 10 euros. Few exceptions at 14 euros. Coffee at 60 cents and local deserts are 3 euros. House wine is simple and delicious costing 6 euros the liter...

Total billswas 65 with tips for 5 people to eat a lot! 100% worth and the cook ms Alexandra is a star. It feels like she is the owner. Lovely and...
