Food Network Fusion Restaurant (HALAL) — Restaurant in Lisbon

Honestly if I could give no stars I would. To start, the man who greeted me was clearly trying to be nice and it was good he spoke English to me as I don't know any Portuguese but he made me feel quite uncomfortable and was a bit pushy.

I got the combined deal so I had a starter and desert with the main. The starter was obviously some heated frozen fried goods but edible. The main was very bad, I got the sweet and sour chicken which was tinted pink but also overdone and dry, even the "Mexican rice" was bad... I love rice, I couldn't even eat it and I can't remember another time in my life that I've done that. Desert was supposed to be "chocolate panacotta" but it was more like milk jelly with cheap chocolate sauce and sprinkles.

There was also an issue with getting mango lemonade which was on the menu? We had to wait for some server to come in, even though it was open a while before I got there, I also didn't understand why this was the case because when they came it wasn't like they brought a package or anything?

I left feeling sad because the reviews made it seem so great :( Also there were stains...

I’m honestly quite shocked about the reviews here. Seeing the ratings, I had high hopes for the meal. Let me start by saying that the server was very nice. I ordered the shrimp stir fry dish with fried rice. My friend ordered the chicken curry. They both came with wedge cut potato’s. It was not great, in fact even though I was super hungry, I only ate about half of it. Same with my friend. The veggies seemed all to be over cooked. The potato wedges were very crunchy on the outside but mostly is because they were either stale or old and dry. We absolutely couldn’t understand why the ratings for the food were so high. Maybe we came at a bad time. The server did ask us to rate the restaurant if we liked the food. Seemed more responsible to counter the excessively...

Ordered on bolt and the curry was unexpectedly amazing - starts with the ingredients I suppose, you can tell they use great stuff and definitely know how to prepare it. Can’t say anything about any of the other dishes, but the “spicy curry” was awesome

Update!!!! I ordered the chicken burger on bolt, super good. The ratings on bolt for this place aren’t great, and honestly I don’t get it - good ingredients prepared with care always win in my book!
