This review pertains room 117, Avoid!
I recently stayed at Eurostars Lisboa Parque, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. To start, getting to the hotel was a challenge in itself. The signs guiding visitors from the Main Street pointed in the wrong direction, causing unnecessary confusion and delay. Upon finally arriving and entering my room, I was greeted with an uncomfortably warm atmosphere. The air conditioning was evidently malfunctioning, making the stay unbearable even with the AC at full noise/power. Moreover, the bathroom emitted a rather unpleasant odor during the first couple of hours. The bed was overly soft. Further compounding my dissatisfaction was the floor's condition - it seemed it had been waxed some time ago and was now dangerously slippery. Walking around felt like treading on ice. Hoping for some relief, I reached out to the reception to inquire about the possibility of moving to a different room. However, I was simply told that all rooms were booked, with no other solution offered.
As if the above grievances weren't enough, upon checkout, I encountered another hiccup. The staff member at the reception attempted to charge me the city tax twice. While the amount was minimal (2Eur/day), another point to added to my discontent.
I hope the management takes note and ensures that future guests don't face similar inconveniences. I...
Read moreI have stayed at the Eurostars Lisboa Parque Hotel three times in the last few years, and I always consider this well-maintained modern and reasonably priced hotel for my stays in Lisbon. There are two metro stations and numerous buses within a 10-minute walk from the hotel; the 744 bus and the metro will get you to the airport within a half hour. The area is great for walking and sightseeing. There are restaurants, cafes, bars and supermarkets around the hotel. Mercado da Ribeira (Time Out Market) and the waterfront are a pleasant 40-minute walk away. I recommend getting a room with a balcony where you can enjoy morning coffee. The breakfast served in the restaurant downstairs is basic (but sufficient) for hot dishes and impressively diverse for pastries, fruit and juice. I absolutely love the beds, pillows and shower. Housekeeping does a remarkable job at keeping the rooms super clean. Wi-Fi is fast and reliable, which makes this hotel perfect for business travelers (in addition to tourists). My appreciation goes to Helen, Carolina (from the restaurant), Guilherme and Jorge for making my recent stay just perfect. I look forward to returning to this hotel...
Read moreMy wife and I spent four nights at this property. First the positives: convenient location close to metro line, welcoming reception, clean and spacious rooms. The negatives: I expected more than one bottle of water for my 4 night stay and the breakfast left a lot to be desired. No variety and everything was cold even as early as 20 minutes after breakfast started. The hot items were not kept heated even if they were in chafing dishes! In addition the toaster was out of order and the kitchen staff would not make toast and all four days I was told - “no toast, toaster broken”. The same was true of the coffee machine that served coffee that was at best lukewarm. As for hot water for tea one got a ration of one mug full at a time. Talking of mugs, there was a shortage of clean mugs and tea spoons every morning! I raised all the above with the reception staff on my second day there, but to no avail. Tip - if you do decide to stay here, don’t take the breakfast option! Expected better from a...
