Absolutely refreshing experience! Strolling around Lisbon and looking to recharge, this is the place to be. The homemade Italian gelato is not only delicious but also soul-soothing. With a wide variety of flavors, you’ll be tempted to try them all — and trust me, each one is worth it.

If you’re tired of overpriced, fancy-looking but tasteless ice creams, this shop offers a genuine alternative. Located in the heart of downtown Lisbon, it’s spacious, beautifully decorated, and the warm smiles from the staff — especially Siri and Sandhya — make you feel truly welcome.

Cleanliness is top-notch — something you rarely find even in some of the city’s top restaurants. On my second visit, I tried the “Dubai Chocolate” flavor — and it was outstanding!

I hope to taste every single flavor in the future, one by one. Hats off to the minds behind this concept — bringing real Italian gelato to Lisbon at such a fair price is truly...

Got a very small scoop of ice cream of chocolate ice cream and it was terrible. The quantity was too less and quality was too bad. 3.90 for 1 scoop? That’s a rip off. The il gelatone ice cream shop sells 2.50 for 1 scoop and with a big scoop of ice cream. They gave me a small scoop just because i’m an indian. I spoke to them in proper portuguese and they spoke to me in english as if i can’t speak portuguese. Pure sign of racism. Didn’t even say thank you or didn’t spoke properly and in fact ignored me. And also comparing to them talking to the white people, they were speaking to them as if they know them for years and also their scoop was bigger than mine. Same scoop but different flavour and theirs was too much. Start acting like a human. Everyone is a human and i am absolutely not like those wild Indians in portugal....

La Verde is a beautiful gelateria in a very central location, perfect for a sweet break while exploring Lisbon. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better.

As an Italian, I’m very picky when it comes to gelato, and I have to say this is some of the best I’ve ever had – even compared to gelato back home! The flavors are rich, authentic, and perfectly balanced.

One flavor, in particular, completely blew me away: Dubai – a delicious mix of gianduia with crunchy pistachio flakes. It’s absolutely exceptional and worth the trip on its own!
