What a beautiful Fado place that we found just roaming around the streets of Alfama. This was absolutely serendipitous and I am really grateful for that.
This is NOT a tourist trap and is a genuine Fado place. There is no 50+ Euro pricing here. You pay for what you eat, just a minimum charge of 17.50 Euro per person is applied, which I feel is very respectful to the artists and the people who work here.
The food was great but the atmosphere and music was just phenomenal. Nelson in particular was an amazing host and we were well taken care of. The hosts also sing and wow they can sing. We stayed for almost 2.5 hours and thoroughly enjoyed our time there.
Very happy to recommend this place to any Fado...

Our 25th wedding anniversary became more special and memorable.
The ambience of the restaurant is superb. The food is excellent! We couldn't asked for more.
Our Lady of Fatima guided us and showed us the best place to end our night.

Not to mention the affordable and reasonable price. We will definitely be back and recommend your restaurant.
God bless each and...
