Absolutely appalling service from the manager. And the responses to complaints here are proof.
We reserved through the Fork app. DO NOT DO THIS. MANAGER ARBITRARILY DECIDES IF THEY WANT TO HONOUR THE OFFER AND HOW.
The food is not worth any of the hassle or price.
We ordered a mixed sushi platter of 52 pieces. This should be a mix of different fish. ALL OF THE FISH EXCEPT 5 PIECES WERE SALMON, as pictured. I don't know how other people are posting platters with such diversity. Not a single piece of tuna even on our platter. They should just rename it a "salmon restaurant". And half of the options were just weird and unsavory.
Poorly prepared, weird combinations of flavors, terrible "cocktails", poor service, exceptionally bad management. Them using The Fork felt more like a trick than a genuine offer. We had to argue with the manager to receive even part of our order discounted 50%.
The only good part of the entire experience was the female server, who was so kind and tried her very best. She deserves better than this place.
A few hints/caveats:
If you reserve a table online, be careful if you change it online that day. Apparently, they write down online resos in a notebook but never check updates online after service begins even though they let you change your reso time. If a restaurant can't handle checking online reservations during service, simply do not allow same-day changes online. I've never seen such disorganized service.
If you reserve through The Fork app, be prepared to not receive the 50% discount. They seem to just decide whether you get it or not based on some random criteria.
The cocktails are a joke. There is no taste of alcohol in them at all. Just juice. Also, they have zero concept of anything that isn't on the menu exactly as it is. It's a chore to even order a mixed drink even though they have spirits and sodas separately. The reason, from the manager, is that they don't have a button on the point of sale system. Unacceptable excuse.
And though it is a "Japanese" restaurant (allegedly) with sake cocktails, you cannot actually order sake. 🤨
Our whole party left very unhappy with the experience and regretted choosing this sushi place. There have got to be better...
Read moreNever order delivery from here. I have never had this bad of an experience. At 8pm I ordered some simple sushi for delivery, I got an ETA of around 8:30pm. At 9pm i decided to call to ask for an update since it was late, they told me it was on its way. After another half an hour I tried to call again but no response. At 22:00 I tried to call every minute but every time there was no response (I let the phone ring as long as possible each time). Now it is 2 HOURS after it should have been delivered, with no update from the restaurant. Now I go to bed without food because it is too late to order elsewhere. Absolutely disgraceful.
(EDIT after owner responded) I am aware of the terrible weather, I have gone through them myself today. However, if you are unable to deliver orders, cancel them and don’t let me wait 2,5 hours wondering if I will get my sushi or not. The weather should not affect communication to customers. I am totally fine with my order being cancelled because of the weather, however, the weather is not an excuse for no communicating...
Read moreNo questions to sushi. Fish is great, always fresh. But something was very strange with providing delivery. So I made a delivery through Glovo and forgot to tick that I need chopsticks. So I called to say “ sorry guys I forgot to tick delivery with chopsticks, please don’t forget to put it”. They say - of course, we will not forget and don’t worry. It was important for me, I was celebrating something no forks. So not to ruin I called and asked, double checking. When delivery arrived - no chopsticks. I was upset. So I called again to say “ guys, I really asked you not to forget” but they listened to me and hang up the phone. I called again - hang up. Call again - no answer. Abviously they new it was me calling and asking again to deliver the chopsticks ( which is obsurbed to deliver) No reply. I think I called 7-8 times…I was just upset, asking my guest to wait so I can find solution and find chopsticks…
