Memetti Gelato and Brunch — Restaurant in Lisbon

As a very lucky guest, I enjoyed a 26-day stay and tried a new flavor every day! Here is my breakdown of their top gelatos:

Snickers Gelato (My Favorite!): A dense, creamy masterpiece that perfectly captures the candy bar—chocolate, caramel, peanuts, and nougat—in frozen form. Loved the chunks of candy bar on top!

Salted Caramel (Second Favorite): Its richness is perfectly balanced by the salt, offering a delicious sweet-and-savory taste of caramelized sugar.

Raffaella Gelato: A tropical twist with an intense, long-lasting flavor of sweet coconut. I loved the tender, toasted coconut pieces mixed in for a perfect chewy texture.

Mango Gelato: An intense flavor of sweet, ripe mangos with a slight, tang of tartness.

Red Berry Gelato: A sweet-tart blend that is perfect for those specifically seeking a tart gelato, here you go.

Chocolate Gelato: Was a rich, creamy, and intensely flavored with a dark chocolate taste and I loved the chips, flakes of the chocolate bar!

Bubble Gum Gelato : Was a vibrant and playful blue, flavor it's sugary, sweet, fruity a sense of childhood nostalgia of chewing gum!

Yogurt Gelato : fresh tartness from the yogurt, which was balanced by a sweetness from berry cherry topping .

Hazelnut Gelato: Intense toasted Hazelnuts flavor with flasks of hazelnuts that made a creamy Gelato but not to sweet.

Pastashio Gelato : Was not overly sweet, yet had the same intensity of a Nutty flavor as the Hazelnut with chips, and flakes of pastashios!

Cherry Gelto : Looking for a sweet - tart cherry flavor, try this one! Slightly sour for me.

Absolutely lovely place. We first passed because we had an appointment, but I saw the place and promised my child on the way back to stop.

When we arrived we were welcome with a smile and were offered to try the ice cream flavours to choose the right one. And literally all flavours are really delicious, it really is home made ice cream!

Kids want ice cream in the cone, for parents the nightmare, because the icebreaker is just melting faster then the kids can eat. Memetti staff right away suggests to put the icecream in a cup and the cone comes on top. Parent happy, kids happy 😘

I only visited the outside of the café, I have not been inside. All staff really seems to enjoy working there and love the ice cream as much as the guests. Antonio Memetti, the owner also came to welcome us warm heartely and truly interested in his guests. It was beautiful to see how people pass, greeted him or the other way around. The place downtown of Lisbon has obviously regular guests that keep coming back.

let's be honest, is there anything better than walking into a cafe and being greeted like you belong there and then being greeted by name when you actually return? that's Memetti and on top of that they have amazingly delicious ice cream which alone makes it worth...

My husband and I went to cool off from a hot day with Gelato. The Plum Gelato is delicious… the best Gelato I’ve ever had. My husband’s Kiwi gelato was also amazing. The two ladies who took our order where sweet and kind and had a great sense of humor. We sat outside and enjoyed cooling off in the breeze to the comforts of this delicious treat. We later met the owner who told us many interesting things about the monument and the roosters, geese and ducks all living in the park across the street. A few neighborhood dogs walked by and they swoon to the owner and the workers like happy children because they get dotted on and their visit is adorable to see. Go for the gelato, yes, yes, yes! And also go to experience the adorable things happening all around the magical vantage point. I was told the plum gelato is seasonal… so you better go soon and...
