Ministerium Terrace — Restaurant in Lisbon

There is a reason this place has very bad reviews. Listen to them and avoid. Went there for lunch recently and they sell a very overpriced lobster roll for 26 euros - incredibly expensive so you would think it will be good. The lobster roll had 90% shrimp and barely any lobster. That is an absolute scam. When we brought it to the waiter’s attention, she tried to make up a story about how lobster rolls in Portugal can have shrimp and said she can’t take out the shrimp. Selling a shrimp roll and then claiming it’s a lobster roll and charging this crazy price is stealing. And they were very rude about their mistake too. Definitely...

The food was terrible. We had grilled sardines that were not cleaned, nor gutted. They weren't small so it did change the taste and the pleasure of it. We ordered fish sticks for my daughter that were absolutely terrible, defrosted and stale. The pita bread that was supposed to come with the hummus was actually old tortilla bread. In all fairness, my husband did enjoy the chicken wings but me and my daughter left hungry. I believe they are relying on the location of the place, more than the quality...

Very nice location in Lisbon’s best historical square. BUT the food is not the best as the pork was dry and steak was gritty so the 3 star review is justified. The service is very slow ( Joe Biden speed) as the people next to us were waiting for half an hour for their starters.
