Café do Rio - Craft Burgers — Restaurant in Lisbon

This Cafe that I wanted to go, was fortunately in the back street of our hotel in great square. Not very far away from the harbor. Its on the ground floor and you can come by tram or bus. For your own car, if you get lucky you may find a parking lot. The cafe itself is a tiny, cozy place with a cute design and nice concept. I thought that I am gOnna have burgers, but my mexican which I ordered was a different burger, without bread actually. Why not? That is also a different kind of burger. For the sides I got home made fries and salad. They brought us home made mayonnaise and ketchup which were amazing, I mean I loved the mayonnaise! The dish itself was yum. If you ever wish to eat burgers, dOn't hesitate to come here. The gentleman who served us spoke english and served us very kindly. The only thing is that we had some difficulty cutting the burger with regular knife, and they fid not have any other type of knife. So for future if they provide this, it wOuld be really nice. So thank you very much team...

We had an amazing experience at this certified gluten-free restaurant. Their concept of serving burgers without bread is original and surprisingly satisfying. The portions of meat are generous, so you definitely don’t leave hungry. The presentation is also very well thought out :) I recommend the Sicilian burger and the one with pineapple, both were delicious. To top it off, we had a great pannacotta and the best gluten-free brownie I’ve ever tasted, absolute heaven after a whole day walking under the sun. Service was amazing, our waiter was kind and understood Spanish well, which made things easier. Overall, excellent value for money. A must for anyone looking for safe and delicious gluten-free meal...

Lovely restaurant with delicious gluten free food.

There was a good selection of burgers, which come bunless, but with many combinations of delicious toppings. I ordered the "casanova" and my boyfriend the "gorganzola", and with each burger you get 2 sides, which we picked fries and salad. The portions where big and the food tasted excellent! Even the side salad was beautifully dressed. They gave us 2 of the house made sauces, garlic and parsley mayo and tomato sauce that was salsa esque, which where very very nice also!
