Nova Cervejaria — Restaurant in Lisbon

Great fish burgers and sides with nice outdoor seating. We had the salmon burger with a side of crispy sweet potatoes and the tuna and goat cheese burger with a salad. We also ordered the lemonade and one of the juices, which were also good. We debated on the dessert and were pleased that we decided to split one - the biscuit cake with nova peixaria expresso. The crispy sweet potatoes were indeed crispy and were very tasty. The salad comes with chopped nuts on top and is also nice. The burgers were really good. When the dessert came we tried a bit of the cake and then a sip of the (spiked) espresso before determining that we were meant to pour the espresso over the cake...it...

We wanted to have lunch at Parque das Nações and this was one of the first fish restaurants that appeared in the searches. Unfortunately they do not take reservations and so we had to go early to save tables until the whole group arrived. We were welcomed and they did not mind that we "occupied" a table while we were waiting. Of course we ordered starters and drinks while we waited. For a fish restaurant, it has very little fish options. We ordered prego, tartar and skewers. For dessert, a kind of brigadeiro. I was hoping that after having to carry our baby daughter’s buggy up the stairs to the first floor that we would have a nice seafood lunch. Sadly they got our order wrong then put us to the back of the queue so tray after tray of food were served to everyone around us, most of whom had sat down after us. No explanation (until we’d been sat for at least half an hour with just water and decided to ask why everybody else was eating except us) and no apology.
