O Cardo — Restaurant in Lisbon

This is a rip-off, everybody must stay away from this CHEATING restaurant. The owner plays scamS to tourists. I ordered 2 hot milk as drink as I didn’t want to drink coffee in the evening for a good sleep, the waiter did NOT tell me that the milk was an extra for coffee, and I would be charged with coffee even I did not get coffee served. The milk pot is just 70-100 ml as you can imagine how big a milk container is normally. The boss charged me for the coffee I did not even get served. Why? Isn’t it a robbery? I asked for some mayo for the chips, the waiter brought me 2 sachets of ketchup, not mayo, that was as big as the McDonald’s ones which is totally free. I was not told that the little sachet of ketchup will cost me 1 euro each. And I was charged for 2 euros eventually. This is another robbery. This waiter did the bill calculation which is 1 euro more than it should be, he changed the figure as you can see on the bill after I challenged him, he then changed it. As the Bitoque De Po was 9.9 euro on the menu. The boss probably thought I did not notice that how much the dish was and wanted to scam me more money. She probably did not think I would find out her trick. This is not about how much more I paid, it was not terribly more than I should be paying for, but the serivce is TOTALLY A SCAM and experience is consequently VERY BAD. NOT...

On Tuesday 3rd of December we went to this restaurant thinking it is going to be a great place to experience the local Portuguese cousine. After placing our order, the waiter by name Brioni brought us some appetizers that we didn't order and the three of us asked him clearly if these are free of charge or we would have to pay this at the very end. He clearly stated that these were not to be charged and we have asked him again just to confirm. Again, he confirmed that these are free of charge. Alright, we then decided to take them. What a mistake that was.

When we were supposed to pay our dinner the other waiter by the name of Rafael decided to charge us for every single appetizer and when we complained and said that we didn't order those, he gave some nonsense response and pretended like he didn't even hear us. When we repeated the question, he again didn't say anything and he acted confused. A clear scam on their part and a tourist trap. Instead of paying for the food we have ordered, we had to pay 20€ extra that was "supposed to be free of charge". Non ethical and very rude. Again, I would like to repeat the names of the waiters who scammed us: Rafael and Brioni. Thanks for ruining our first day in Lisbon. Despite having good food, I definitely don't recommend this place. You can get a much better...

I wish I could go lower with stars. Terrible food, service was bad aswell - I can understand not everyone can speak English but drinking at work is a no no. We ordered spaghetti, squid with prawns, octopus and cod for child. Cod was with bones, tasted really bad. Squid with prawns? I almost puked trying to eat both... And now "best"... My woman ordered spaghetti... Only eatable part of it was pasta. Meat with "sauce" which was basically freaking fat!!! Few pieces (literally) of tomato in it. Really salty aswell. She's pregnant and all she ate was this pasta (in between "bites" she had to look for garlic which was added to pasta and which was worse than everything!!! On the bright side orange juice was freshly squeezed. When I started to complain about food (not touched most of it), drunk waiter just turned around and went to the desk or something they use to get our check. Will send an email because its not on. Dont go there... We decided Burger King on the other side of the road would be better than this... Something. Something because they shouldnt call themselves restaurant -...
