Worst experience! We arrived at 6 PM and the kitchen was closed, with few products available. The layout is awkward and the queue is in the middle of the dinning area. The attendant couldn’t understand the order and I had to repeat multiple times ( in Portuguese). Then, we paid and the value was way more than expected because they added one drink to the order and confused one of the pastries. When we asked the money back, they confused the change and gave less money than they should and I was the entire time waiting for the remaining part, I had to wait in front of the cashier to have it. The attendant was not nice and did not apologize. The food was from the day before, not fresh. We order 2 Frappuccinos with different flavors and we had to guess what was the flavor and one of them had no taste. The order are ready for a lot of time and remaining waiting because no one calls and they ring the pager a lot of time after. A lot of people complaining about service today! I was here before the hype and it was amazing, now it...
Read moreSo, I swung by Bread and Friends to check out their famous cronut filled with cream. Gotta be honest, it didn't quite live up to the hype for me. They were kinda dry and, in my opinion, way too sweet. I think there should be a better balance between the cream's sweetness and the croissant itself. But hey, on the bright side, the visuals were absolutely stunning!
On the other hand, I also tried their ham and cheese sandwich on a bread with seeds, and oh my goodness, it was amazing! The bread was super fresh and it made for a really delicious sandwich.
The atmosphere at Bread and Friends is pretty chill, but I have to admit, the music was a bit loud. It might not be the best spot if you're looking to study or get some work done. However, they do offer a wide variety of food options, so it's definitely worth giving this...
Read moreFirstly to the food. We ordered two salmon bagels and one smoked ham bagel. The bagels weren't bagels at all but a bagel shaped white bread that crumbled and had little consistency or flavour. We also ordered a pastel de nata supreme croissant which looked very nice, but was hard stale and likely left there for a couple of days. The rest of the pastries on display looked similar( nice from far away but closer look you can see they are not fresh). We ordered 2 capuchinos and one americano that were watery. What makes it all worse is everything was hugely overpriced. The service was terrible and ridiculously slow all our food was already made, but by the time they had finally packaged it, the coffees had gone cold. Upon picking up the order and asking for a bag, they tried charging 40 cents for a...
