Unfortunately a very average experience.
The wait between the entrees and the main dishes was a bit longer than expected and the food doesn’t deserve the price.
They don’t know what “ovos rotos” are and they served us sunny side eggs over French fries with maybe four pieces of “farinheira” sausage. It would be funny if it wasn’t so disappointing.
The “peixinhos da horta” (tempura-like green beans) were fine, I guess, but the octopus rice was very salty for what it should be traditionally. The “açorda” (bread mash) was legit, but as a side. As a main dish I’m assuming it might be too salty too.
They themselves praise the chocolate mousse as one of the things they’re known for, which, again, was average at best. Any Portuguese grandma will make you a much better version of it.
The whole thing is mid and unimpressive...

"Tibornada de bacalhau" was also good. The waiter was very nice and the service was not overly slow. We tried several desserts and they were very good. What impressed me the most was the chocolate mousse, I can say that it was probably the best I ever had (and I've had quite a few, because it's my favourite dessert): it's a very chocolatey and heavy mousse (not the fluffy ones you usually find at restaurants),...
Read moreWOW, WOW!!! Absolutely delicious offerings here! The location on the upper level of Time Out Market is perfect to enjoy the vibe of the market but not the crowds. Even the music gets you in the spirit to relax and have fun! Food: soft shrimp cakes are a must; Crab 🦀 mouse was different, tasty, smooth texture; Hake fillet with common cockles rice - this is food heaven. The fish is cooked to perfection remaining delicate and moist...the rice had a mild seafood, tomato taste flavor with cockles just enough flavor to complement the hake! Now for the ending...the best chocolate mousse ever, made from a 40 year old recipe (per the bartender), not a typical soft and fluffy mousse - this is dense and thick dark chocolate, just savor this with...
