The owner has changed, unfortunately the same as happen to the typical peruvian family environment. The beautiful Peru images on the walls are missing and now it plays a bit loud regaeton and the food doesn't seem to be as delicious as it was. But they say the cooking staff is the same. Also it is more expensive.
On the plus side, the staff is so kind and nice. The staff makes you feel really good. Very attentive. Also you can eat outside and they make reservations for dinner.
All in all you can eat food here it is not bad. But it is nothing to say uauuu about like before (it seems to have lost a bit of the family taste on the food and on the environment). The Ceviche was ok, but not amazing, an I recommend it, but small portion is served. The empanada of cheese and onion was ok but I don't recommended it. The deserts also didn't impress (the cheesecake and dulce leche with passion fruit..but we were not a fan of dulce leche, we thought was something else..so mistake on our part to have chosen that). Nevertheless hope they can still improve to a more family food touch and care, and also if they want music, I think it should be something genuine from Peru or at least...
Read moreAbsolutely the best place in Lisboa, Portugal for Peruvian cuisine. The atmosphere and service were exceptional. I started my evening with a great Pisco Sour and it only got better from there
.
We started with the Fried Chicken Wings with a Peruvian sauce. The wings arrived wrapped in an Asian sauce with Japanese chives.
We then moved on to Causa Chicken A LA Limena. This is a typical Peruvian dish. It's made with mashed potatoes, shredded chicken, lime juice, avocado, cevichera sauce, and sweet potato chips.
Next up was the Beef Ribs with Black Beer LA Nortena. The beef is slow-cooked for three hours in a dark beer. The beef arrived at the table with Peruvian choclo puree, jasmine rice, and criolla. Our dishes arrived with a very delightful bread and spreads.
We finished off the evening by sharing a Suspiro A LA Limena of Passion Fruit and a serving of Passion Fruit Mousse.
The center of the plate items were well prepared and presented. The desserts' plate presentation was five star and there was âa carload of caloriesâ in...
Read moreWhat an amazing find in Lisbon!! Stay away from the restaurants on the main plaza and head to the side streets for some amazing cuisine. We passed by this restaurant on our first night to try out another one in the square and regretted it instantly. It was a happening place and let me tell youâŚ.in Lisbon you want to eat at restaurants that are packed. Thatâs a sign of good food and drinks at a great price. So the next night, we made a beeline to the place. Wow! The service is great and our server was a hustler making sure we tried some of their specialties. He was not making it upâŚI had the best cod Iâve had in Lisbon and my partner wouldâve gladly ordered another black pork dish. Theirs is a fusion of Portuguese and Peruvian cuisine and it was excellent! Go find this place next time you are near Praca do comercio. It is across the street from another great place, a coffee shop...
