I’m an Argentinian who knows good meat when I taste it, and my recent visit to Chimarrão left me profoundly disappointed. I expected a churrascaria that honored the tradition of quality meat and impeccable service, yet what I experienced was far from acceptable.

To begin with, the service was extremely poor. I asked a simple question to the waiter and received no response whatsoever—it felt as though my inquiry was completely ignored. This level of inattentiveness is not only frustrating but completely unacceptable for an establishment that claims to offer a premium dining experience.

As for the meat, it was a major letdown. It was hard, underseasoned, and utterly lacking in flavor, with not even the basic touch of salt to bring it to life. For someone who prides themselves on an intimate knowledge of quality meat, especially as an Argentinian, this was nothing short of disappointing. The meat should be tender, flavorful, and full of character, but what I got was a stark reminder that quality was not a priority here.

The only slight bright spot was the salad buffet, which was well-stocked and nicely presented. Unfortunately, this small redeeming feature does little to compensate for the overall poor quality of the main offerings.

This place used to be amazing 4 years ago. Today I had unfortunate event where I decided to revisit the place which in my memory was one of the best rodízios in Portugal and it left me speechless after my recent visit. The meat was not tender at all! As a matter of fact, it was extremely hard to cut into the meat even with steak knives. The starters available were tasteless, except for the chorizo which I found amazing. Apart from that it was an absolute disappointment. When I talked with the staff, everyone was with a very arrogant and rude attitude towards our experience altogether. If I spend 20 minutes in the building it was a miracle, I left the building as soon as I entered. With this, I’m not complaining about the price however given the fact that the food was rubbish I found it very expensive.

I absolutely loved this place. The staff were super welcoming friendly nice attentive. I definitely felt welcomed.

Although I did not fully understand the menu due to the language barrier as well as the time. This was not a problem, the lovely waiter managed to help me and we cane up with a dish.

I ordered meat rice and chips to take away. However I did order a alcoholic drink for the moment.

May I say this was a huge glass this was for the atmosphere and one to take time with relax and enjoy the moment. Had I had fully known I would have come a little earlier although not a problem.

I ate the food back at the apartment, there we no complaints from me. The meat was cooked to my perfection, rice full of flavour chips spot on.
