Taberna Ibérica — Restaurant in Lisbon

Checked the menu outside and I though let’s try it it’s seems nice. I waited by the door only to be greeted by a rude waiter wich seemed to be the manager. I was sat at my table and waited a long long time for my food. I ordered the grilled salmon with herbs as described on the menu and this is what I got. Frozen veg mix boiled and two pieces of also frozen salmon put together in order to form what was meant to be one piece of salmon. The veg was raw and with no salt or seasoning at all and the fish tasted old and like it had been sitting in a freezer for way too long. There was also a level of water on my plate. Other customers were also bothered by the waiter and the way he was being unprofessional screaming and not smiling or acknowledging the costumers in a professional way. I ended up not eating anything and wasted one hour of my day for no reason. I was truly disappointed and don’t understand how this restaurant has good reviews. I don’t think I’ve ever been served a meal this bad in a restaurant in my life. Please don’t fall for these other reviews, the restaurant as had good moments and was a part of some competitions but that was years ago it seems like it as clearly...

This restaurant is a good option to go to for Spanish food. We got there around 8pm and it was full it was very hard to get a table or even sit at the bar so I would suggest trying to make a reservation so you can be more comfortable. I also saw they have live music. we had the batatas bravas, bread with tomato, pulpo a la gallega ( the best dish I truly recommend it), pimentos Fritos and huevos rotos ( also very tasty) and 5 drinks (beer and wine) and the total was 39.50 Euros. We came in to try some tapas and were very welcomed by the waiter, we had a sit right on the window, the place was quite cosy but it was empty which got us a bit disappointed as we thought we would be crowded.

We had the huevos rotos which were delicious the jamon it was really good, the tortilla for my taste it was a bit dry and too small for the price, the pan con tomate it was good but strange with oreganos. The red house wine it was also good.
