I was truly moved to have my very first taste of real açaí since coming to Europe—what an unforgettable experience!✨ Everything I had here was absolutely perfect and delicious, and the quality of the açaí was simply outstanding. But what made this place even more special was the amazing staff. They kindly explained everything in fluent English, and even someone who seemed to be the owner was working side by side with the team, creating such a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Thanks to the incredible staff, I had such a wonderful time here. I felt so comfortable and truly cared for. And thank you so much for the sweet touch of offering condensed milk at the end—it really made my day! This was my first visit to Portugal, and thanks to this place, I now have a beautiful memory to treasure. I will definitely come back again next time...

Tapioca World in Lisbon is a real gem. It’s a small family-run place, and everything on the menu is completely gluten-free — a huge relief since my girlfriend has celiac disease. From the start, the owners were incredibly kind and welcoming, which instantly made us feel at home.

We loved it so much that we came back multiple times. The chicken Alfredo tapioca was a favorite, and the tomato and ham one was also amazing. And of course, the sweet options were just as good — simple, fresh, and really tasty. Their fresh juices are great too and pair perfectly with the food.

It’s rare to find a spot that’s 100% gluten-free and still this good. We left happy, full, and already planning to come back again. Highly recommended if...

This place will take you back to Brazil, both with the quality of its food and the warm of its staff. The star of the menu is tapioca - street food from the North East. The portion they prepare is quite big and filling. There are various options on the menu though very few are vegetarian - they can adjust the non-veggie ones if you ask. Tapioca is made from cassava and is gluten free. If you have space left definitely go for the pao de queijo, or brigadeiro and beijinho as a dessert - all test and approved by me. The setting is simple and there is plenty of seating space. The service is quick and attentive. The owner and staff were...

The heavens opened ...a torrential downpour. We took cover in Tapioca World. A bright, colourful eatery in Lisbon. Well worth a visit. The service was excellent and attentive. The food was a tapioca crepe (yep, you read this correctly). We were initially sceptical but when they arrived, we were enthralled. So very tasty, not had anything like this before. Himself had Nordestin (pulled beef, cheese, tomato, onion, chives and fresh coriander). I had chicken Alfredo (shredded chicken in a white creamy sauce, chives and coriander). Had a lovely cuppa of PG tips with cold milk (without a bat of an eye lid). Thank you.
